Agent 47, the Hitman, going back to work in this trailer for Hitman: Absolution. The Hitman series favors stealth and planning over balls to the wall action, leading to tense stalking and infiltration based gameplay.

From what I have been reading it sounds like they are making this game more about action than about stalking your prey like the other Hitman games. I wasn't too impressed with the trailer, at least not the way he executed finding his target. Typically 47 doesn't just go through like a bull and take everyone on face to face.He is a possessional assassin and takes them out quietly and without anyone else knowing

It sounds like they are going to do to this game what they did to the new Splinter Cell. Now don't get me wrong, the Splinter Cell wasn't terrible, just not a true Splinter Cell game.

As for right now, I am on the fence about this game. sadly.

this is going to be awesome, just today before i saw the trailer i was wondering when they were going to make a new hitman game, looks like it is time to replay the oringanals

I hate when people say its a "huge step up in graphics"... its a CGI trailer guys, it has nothing to do with the game engine.

Looks very, very cool. A huge upgrade in graphics and sound from Blood Money.

Hopefully, there are as good upgrades in gameplay elements - weapons, story line and locations, classic missions, multiple ways to reach objectives - which was so much a part of the original series, gameplay mechanics etc.

Looking forward to hearing more....

and getting my piano wire out.
