I hope all the cool spells aren't just from dragons. The shouts give me hope we'll get cool spells like levitate, water walking, fire/poison/ice/lighting storm again.

The dashing shout also gave me hope that maybe our characters will be able to become superhuman like in Morrowind. Allow me to level up to jump super high and run super fast. The more down to earth characters in Oblivion really bored me. That suits fallout way more. That fight against that priest was one of the best fights I've ever seen in a Bethesda game.

"Highest detail, down to the flowers"
Shame G4 uploaded in such a poor resolution and bitrate, we will just have to take your word for it.

    One: this looks BOS

Two: Square Enix, take notes, chief; this is what a fantasy RPG looks like, not a bunch of androgynous ravers and angsty, brooding/moody emo kids. You guys haven't been relevant since Sakaguchi left.

Three: Why kill dragons? Besides all the awesome powers--are they a threat? Is it just for fun? Do they owe us money or did they sleep with our girl? Help a fella out.

The game looks amazing, like in my top 5 games ever amazing. I do agree in part to that one guy, however. I think a lot of AI needs to be fixed like the thieves not running when their pal gets owned. Also that horse animation needs serious work. Other than that A+

Uh keep in mind that this game still have 5 months to work out the kinks and i've been a fan since Daggerfall (how many of you can actually say that?) I will be getting this game the day it comes out and Candace, you're so adorable (she got like 3 words out the whole video) Goldbrand93 can suck it, 93 probably indicates your year of birth, you're still a baby dude, you'll figure it out one day.

Skip to 2:50; As you can see with previous titles, you can tell there is a possibility of a ton of features being removed from the game. I wouldn't be surprised if they trash the idea of the dragon grabbing the giant from the final product; conceptually it is a good idea, but so far it looks bad. It looks like they took the same exact wolf attacking animation as they did in Oblivion and inserted in Skyrim. The Draugr look like they slide awkwardly on the ground when they attack. The font they use to describe locations and items is very generic; it does not fit the game style. The developers should also learn from Red Dead Redemptions horses, one of the most beautifully animated horses i've ever seen in a video game, this one just looks clunky. In the first demo they showed, when Todd shot the first bandit with an arrow, his ally just stood there.......... (to those of you who have actually played Oblivion, nothing has changed it seems). And there are still some uncomfortable clipping issues with that ice atronach at the final boss.

On the positives, the environment, graphics, and spells look phenomenal. Whirlwind Sprint was absolutely amazing. The giants were very cool and I liked how they are animated, as well as the Mammoths.

Of course there will be those of you with steam shooting out of their ears at the sight of reading my post, but it had to be said. It seems people follow a trend of absolutely loving a game just because others do, and honestly out of the thousands of posts i have seen about Skyrim, it appears there are only a handful of critics out there. The reason I am so hard on this game is because I love the games this company makes, Morrowind was a masterpiece, as was Oblivion, and it would break my RPG driven heart to see this game not exceed the expectations that Skryim's predecessors have done.

I think this has surpassed the mystique that Final Fantasy once held.

Wow. I've been a loyal Elder Scrolls fan since Morrowind and I'm absolutely ecstatic. This looks like the perfect combination of graphics, gameplay and storyline. I'm still a bit confused as to how leveling works, but oh well. I'll be playing this on day one. Amazing.
