Halo 4 Announcement E3 2011 Live

E3 2011 kicked off with Microsoft's press conference with a sneak peek at the upcoming 'Halo 4,' a brand new trilogy featuring everyone's favorite Spartan. Kevin Pereira and Morgan Webb discuss what the new story is about and the Fall 2012 release date.

Guys most of the people who worked on Halo in Bungie moved over to 343 Industries/Studios. Promo is just too awesome.

lol when i fin halo 3 i didn't think halo 4 was gonna take place shortly after.if i were chief i would b pissed i mean come on goes to take a well needed nap nd about half hour later needs to flee from dieing..again.I have a feeling we r getting closer to the death of the great master chief

i hope this turns out better than Halo 3....I thought that when master cheif was asleep on the piece of the ship he was floating to a planet that looked like Reach or am i tripping? somebody can may currect me if i am wrong

The forerunners cant be back cuz guess what they killed themselves by firing one of the halo rings when the flood was invading them so the flood would be gone but the flood came back cuz of the covenent. The elites arent doing it cuz they went back to their home world and went back to normal. Brutes cant do it cuz when the war was over the elites went and killed every last of the brutes they could find. The grunts cant do it cuz well there to weak. Jackals were in it for religous reasons. And the drones gone, hunters gone, and most of all the prophets gone. MY GOSH PEOPLE ITS A WHOLE NEW TRILOGY!!!!!!! Bungie doesnt own Halo anymore. Now 343 studios has it and it should be good cuz they helped bungie make Halo so they actually should take good care of it...

Don't really know how to take this. On one hand.......NERDGASM!!!!!!!! Halo 4! Hell yeah! Can't wait for this to come out... If the world hasn't ended in 2012. On the other hand... No Bungie? Can it be any good without them? I don't just want Microsoft to start a Halo mill, turning out crapy Halo games every year just to make more money and milk the Halo story for every penny it's worth. Let's just hope and pray this new trilogy works out. I'm gonna get it anyways and hope for the best (I needed to change my pants after the announcement.)

Ok seriously people, yes it's not made by Bungie, but it's made by people that worked FOR Bungie. I'd say about half that people at 343 worked on Halo at Bungie. If there's any indication on how they're going to do, go play the Defiant map pack.... pretty sure you'll be happy.

Wow!!! I really don't know what to say. I'm sad that Bungie is no longer with their baby but thrilled to see Master Chief again. I wanted Halo 4 so badly because of being disappointed in how the original trilogy ended. Loved how Halo 2 built this huge climax but then it seemed as though everything petered out in the end. The Covenant (and the flood) didnt seem so mighty in Halo 3 as they did in 1 and 2. I just pray that Microsoft doesn't mess this one up. They have the material to make the next best game, just please follow through!!!

I liked the whole "him slowly waking up" thing. I realized the trailer started in his brain (those were his neurons firing) almost by the 2nd neuron.
