What a terrible press conference and no wonder why our PS3 never gets played. We didn't purchase the PS3 for the 3D games, the new controller system or for the very poor selection of games that are available for the game system. The old controller is enough and maybe Sony would be doing better if they stopped messing up good games like Socom (the new Socom game isn't Socom at all but rather is some new type of shooter that does not even come close to the games of the past).

Maybe Sony is just trying to appeal to the very young kids for their business seeing how many of their games are ones that only a young child would enjoy.

The Vita does not look all that good and will not be seeing it's way into my home, heck I'm about ready to sale our PS3 and just keep the XBOX 360 for my son, it's what he plays all the time any ways.

3D wont be around in 5 years, what a waste.

Well Gentlemen(and the few ladies around, respectfully)where to start...well first off SONY f-IN rox and they had the best press conf. even tho it was lengthy. Also while the elephant in the rooom did nothing to change my opinion or love for Playstation, if anything it made me a stronger fan than ever before! And yup fellas this just me ventin lol.But for reels tho 15 years ago I used to carry my PS1 around in its original box wrapped in its big K-Mart bag EVERYWHERE I went. When the PS2 kame out I went thru at least 5 or six of em bekuz I didn't have the best luck with em, I must have spent over a thousand dollars on those things. lol As for PS3 it is the proverbial cup of ice water in the hell I kall my life. Also I never and will never touch or play X-Box games bekuz i'm that F-in SONY! So in conclusion I'd say i'm a Sony man thru and thru and will be till the day I die. P.S.....SCREW X-BOX! ;)

WOW Did anyone see the same spotlight on sony as I did? Cause it sucked hardcore! I mean 40 minutes spent on a damn handheld? Really?? Who cares!!! Not me. Dont get me wrong I've been a ps fan sence ps 1 but come on. Nothing about Resident Evil nothing about silent hill, I know Kanomi had a Silent Hill downpour trailer but still? I was dissapointed. Spotlight on Microsoft was awsome!

I think "Dust 514" looks like a Sony Halo. I hope thats not the case because that's just stupid.

This has to be the longest conference I have ever watched. I will have to say that the Capcom representative was funny to watch and listen to. Overall I thought the conference was kinda boring. The Uncharted demo for the PS3 and Vita was cool. Also I believe that the Vita has great potential. Dust 514 looks like it might do well and I like the idea that they are allowing it to interact with the EVE Online universe. Anyone else thinks that the Ruin game looks a lot like Diablo 3?

The PSV is just very MEH for me. There are just not enough games that are shown for it that grab my attention. 3DS, let's go.

I know this is going to get a lot of negative thumbs probably, but, a portable device is randomly used except for trips longer than an hour in a car, and a couple other instances, if I leave the house, I'm not going to tote around a game system small enough to fall out of my pocket, get cracked somehow, that cost 250 plus all the games, I mean the notion of having something that is portable and that sharp looking calls for a purchase but after you buy it, well you find out that it just likes to collect dust, When I leave my house I have a purpose and it usually isn't to find a nice tree in some park to squat next to and play uncharted on my 5 '' handheld, and if you have a a handheld system, I assume most also have a console, so the time of playing that Vita drops dramatically (in my opinion), if I had a cubicle at my job and worked for g4 or something the vita just may be something Iwould use- other than that it looks real nice, I mean real nice, but it's a waste- be honest with yourselves, back in the day I saw tons of game boy colors that people played out and about, from there on in the handheld world it has just got less and less that I have seen people playing them out and about ( my friend's kids played their DSi for about 2 weeks straight inside their house, that was it), I have seen one person with a psp playing outside on a bench, once and only once in my entire life, so let me get this straight, I'm supposed to play uncharted 3 on ps3 at home then go out somewhere and play uncharted on my vita somewhere, So we are to carry our cell phones and a psvita around, This peice of hardware can probably do some incredible things ( it may even be more powerful than a ps2 or whatever) but its a waste, except for a very select few of us, but tons of people will buy it, just like most handhelds- after the initial 2 straight weeks of playing it non-stop the holy shizz factor goes away and it is a waste

hmmmm, uh, hmmmmm, ugh- I guess I don't really know what I was expecting from Sony, but, I was not expecting what they showed, and the joke of the bad press at the beginning- and the thank you- terrible timing- apologize first, then bring on the jokes for the healing process, also I thought the apology was just a tad to short (I'm thinking about 60 minutes to short), if your going to have bunk security for all your customers but open up with- it's all about you the customers (that makes no sense, the words say we care the actions say WE DON'T), Sony should have acted like they were on eggshell and tried to be a little more apologetic, and since they were not, I believe they needed to WOW me, and that beast I never saw from them, Please Sony get your act together, I would comment on the games they showed ,but, meh

I liked it but I was sad to not see some games like The Last Guardian or one of the final fantasy games. Also, what happened at the end with the drums and stuff, the video stopped at that point?

Ok, Sony... you've got my attention. Just riddle me this: Where's Twisted Metal?

Alright Sony definitely pulled out all their immediate weapons this year at E3. Uncharted 3, a game I would be more than happy to play if I had a PS3, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, again, a game I'd love to play if I had a PS3, Ico and Shadow of the Collosus, which deserve an HD makeover, and the Playstation Vita. Okay, Sony, thou hast been forgiven in my book.

    Good Points:
    - HUGE lineup of PS3 Exclusives
    - Great reveal of Playstation Vita, strong system (with good pricetag)
    - Good push toward the Move, looks very intruiging
    - Thank you for the apology and status update of PSN
    - Great variety of content

    Weak Points:
    - No Twisted Metal demo :( I was looking forward to that...
    - Lots of trailers, not enough gameplay

    Overall: 4.5 / 5.0
