For any who might not know, this game will actually be a sequel to Gaijin's "IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey", rated 5/5 by G4 for both PS3 and 360.

I've been playing console based flight combat games for years and I can honestly say, any fan of the genre is doing him/herself a disservice if they don't pick up Birds of Prey. This game looks as if they'll be building upon what Birds of Prey started for consoles with more planes and bigger online battles! Birds of Prey has something for eveyone from the basic controls of the arcade difficulty to the more complex controls of realistic and simulation difficulties where you have to set you flaps, trim and plane damage effects you performance among many other factors. I doubt, they'd drop such an all-encompassing feature, so I'd be willing to bet Birds of Steel will be just as inviting for the casual as well as the die-hard player as well.

If you're curious as to what to expect, grab a cheap copy of Birds of Prey to tide you over until this is released and look for me in the skies!

Ace combat, hawx, pretty much every game out that has anything to do with aircraft is a JOKE theres no such thing as an aircraft that cairries 30 missiles that can each split magically and take down 6 other aircraft They say this games a simulation so lets hope its actually realistic. Unlike those arcade games that are out today. Galaga is more realistic than hawx or ace combat because at least in that game when u collide with another aircraft u blow up.

Btw, how is it PC'ers are allowed to complain about no PC port on this one, and we Consolers aren't allowed to do the same about The Witcher 2? lol

So far i've been down-thumbed and basically told to suck it by several PC users on forums about the no console Witcher situation, lol hypocrites.

I actually ended up enjoying Blazing Angels 2, and it's WW2 setting/technology, didn't think I would since i'm more of a Ace Combat freak.

The only thing I wished was better in BA2 were it's controls, which were overly arcadey.

This game sounds like it will be pretty similar, I just hope it's not too similar with the missions, but will attempt to be a flight-sim so I guess it could be worth looking into.

When I saw the title, I thought it might be an Angry Birds sequel. Oh, well...

This might be fun, it's still early to tell if it'll be good or not though.
