They always have a teaser trailer that doesn't show anything.
Then at E3 they will show a trailer.
A few months after E3 will be another trailer, most likely showing multiplayer.
Then at E3 2012 will show a demo.
Then FINALLY the game will be released in 2013 (if were lucky late 2012).

Its really hard to explain but when I play an IW CoD game it just has something that makes the experience so great. And I do not get that same feel or experience from any other shooter nor from Treyarch. Sorry but I don't. So I really hope they still have some of those genius employees who worked alongside of old IW so that they can make this game great.

im only gonna rent for the 2 hour campaign :) and i already have black ops for mp since they just basically put in the same engine with diffrent but same guns. i hope everyone does this too so they can stop putting out the same thing annually..

You know what would be great? If the beautiful 3 minute cinematic trailer for Battlefield ends up leading everybody to believe that its good when its actually sucks and doesn't look anything the dressed up trailer. Then the 30 second teaser trailer that just lets you know the next MW is coming ends being the lead off to a great hit.

Subscription model is definately going to be a deciding factor either way though.

I say RENT is the verdict on both titles until proven otherwise.

I have mixed feelings about this, I've been play CoD since the first and have had everyone sense. But Kotick and Activision have burned me to many times of late and I just don't see me buying CoD4.4 again. I hate that they ruined my all time favorite shooter. All CoD games are any more is little kids spewing hate speech that they don't understand and terribly unbalanced guns and maps. It seems like the one that came first will be the one that comes out on top, Battlefield 3 can't come soon enough.

and how about instead of prestiging they make the level cap 99 and very difficult to level up towards the end. Online play is too boring at this point to have to pay for it.

Initially I was not going to get sucked into this franchise anymore. However,the concept of America invaded is very intriguing. It reminds me of red alert 2

Can't say I'm too thrilled. CoD is about the MP and no dedicated servers are a no no to me.

NOOOOO Treyarch is alot better than Infinity word, I was on the CoD team but after MW 1&2 Im starting to go Battle field
(I have played CoD and CoD 2 for the PS2, CoD 3 for PS2 and 360, World at war, MW 1, and MW 2, and Black ops. Battlefield bad company 2 has beaten all of them, WaW and Black ops are the only ones that get close.
