Gears of War 3 "Torque Bow" Gameplay Video

Gears of War 3 has release a new mode in their multiplayer beta called, Torque Bow Tag match, and we have a gameplay video showing off this powerful and deadly bow. Check it out.

this game is so awesome i cant wait 2 tear it up w my crew, of course 2 need training....alot of it 2. but i trust them 2 do wat they need 2 do....n hopfully not get me killed :P ive been playing gears 2 n gettin back my strengths n playing w my team 2 get our acts 2gether. srategays r already on the way XD

Gears beta was a blast, i must admit gears 2 was s!t. but the beta was the bomb, i have no idea what "epic studios" are doing but they are on the right track.

TB Tag is fun
It would be great if they let you choose more weapon modes
I support the chainsaw only and Boomer map suggestions.

My choice would be a mode with only boltoks and incendiary grenades.

I am excited for the weapon specific game modes maybe they can make some that leaves out the sawed off shotgun or both shotguns altogether. I love the shotguns in gears but most the complaints I hear about the game is concerning how overpowered they are. Anything to help the franchise along. BTW if you gain control of the power weapons and stay alert the shotgun run and gunners don't stand a chance. I think games like COD have trained ppl to feel like they should have all the weapons they need at spawn, while I like having to run for and control power weapons it keeps the action moving and adds some strategy.

has EPIC confirmed that there will be no gears of war 4 ( or w/e its gonna be called) because in the story line for gears there are 4 carmines 3 of which have already been shown( one in each game) but there is 1 carmine that has not been shown and his identity is a mystery. hmmmm gears of war 4?

That's awesome. The bunny heads were funny at first but in CTL the ears totally blocked your line of sight. Can't wait to be put in a match with big head.

they should make torque bow tag have everyone spawn with the torque with unlimited ammo and let us just go crazy.

Every time I think I don't like Gears, I play it a bit, have fun, and change my mind. Torque Bow Tag is a fun edition to the multiplayer element.

First, I own both systems. Second, All Epic has done is make this into either wallbouncing sawed off or a hammerbust with a modded controller nightmare. I can't wait for the PSN to come back and play a fun game called Killzone 3. Bring on the hate comments

I appreciate Epic actually listening to their fans, and giving them what they want.

godzilliaisyourdaddy(awesome name) is actually on the right track. Why not just throw caution to the wind and make a player's choice mode. You can choose between a specific weapon that is only allowed in the match, crazy options like Torque Bow tag, but other things like chainsaw executions only, or sniper battles where headshots are the only way you can score a kill. This is the last Gears so go out with a bang!! There's another one...grenade tag!!

I liked Torque Bow Tag, and I agree with godzilla. Hopefully they can have the players choice playlist be like what they do with Halo. Torque Bow Tag on Old Town, Gnasher Spam on Trenches, or something along those lines. You know something to just give the game a little variety that we're not used to seeing in Gears.

By the way godzillaisyourdaddy I don't think that game type would work to well, but I like the way you're thinking.

Epic should just go all out and make some wacky player choice game modes. A "zombie" where two people spawn as locusts and the rest are COG. Locust have infinite respawns and when they kill a COG, those players become Locusts. They should take a page from Reach and makes some wacky modes. Spice the game up a bit considering this is the going to be the most badass Gears game.
