Really at the end of the day they don't really care about everyone who insults them cause they get paid to do this and get free stuff from gaming companies so tell me who is really the lame ones in this situation? I don't know if the game is good or not and according to the major price drop in the stores I think it might not be that great which is why I watched this preview. I will not play it cause it is a 1st person shooter and those are not my games. But is it bad? I don't know and don't care to know.

Morgan Webb doesn't know wtf she's talking about. This game is fun as hell, and it's only getting better. The first patch launched today on Steam and it improved many things.
She's just a total baddy. L2P Morgan.

Wow.... did they even like.. play the game? Ok, by all standards this is not a GREAT game, but it is a good game. Certainly not polished but its a refreshing change from the same 3 shooters we've been playing for the past 3 years

I have finished the game, I've played this game through top to bottom and while it is flawed I have to say it's an okay game. I spend a LOT of time defending G4 against people I know saying Sessler has an interesting and educated view on gaming from some one who had a life before becoming a "gamer," and Webb is actually an intelligent woman who knows about technology and even Pirerra is not as dumb as he appears at times, he's funny and he's got to pander to an audience. This video does nothing to support my arguments.
The fact is it's like neither of them actually played the game (as stated so many times before) and they say things that are just not true. Movement can be very fast and dynamic and is based on the body type you select, grenades throw like GRENADES there's a tragectory and they bounce and they don't go off as soon as you throw them. They are on a timer and you can "Cook" them by holding them longer. There's just some basic facts they get wrong.
Look G4, I'm probably the only person I know who stands up for you guys. You're making me look stupid especially when you don't even TRY to get your facts right. Work on that.

it doesnt even sound like they play the game. cmon, "you dont need to be any other class other than the medic"? did they even play the game? they dont realize the perks of other classes (Disuise, ammo, weapon buff, turrets, landmines, caltrops, molotovs, etc.) are also useful. another thing that's wrong with what they said is you HAVE to be other classes other than the medic because of the objectives. they said that they are confused with SMART, what's so confusing? you hold SMART and you go over/under the obstacle. sounds like they never played enough til they got the lightweight type, and they probably played easy for ten mins. and never understood it that much.
im not saying that brink is perfect but this review lost alot of respect from fans of g4. the real flaws are the texture lags. and they said that the lag kills it? lags can be patched in one day ( which it is).
If I reviewed this ill probably give it a 7/10. Cmon G4 you gotta get it together

number one cod sucks. just throwing that out there. number 2 why is everyone listening to reviewers when you should just play the game. number 3 the g4 team are a bunch of 40 yr olds that still think there 12 (mid life crisis anyone?) and think their still able to talk smack about a good game and not peeve off alot of people. morgan said basically cod black ops is great. brink above and beyond and she and kevin are to ignorant to see what they shutting down. playing a game for 5 mins does NOT give u the whole thing in one sitting (which, more or less is what they did.) all i am saying is dont listen other people rant. if you want to know how a game is PLAY IT. i hope to see some of you on the psn and hope you have fun! :)

Boo - I agree with most of the posters - All of the G4 reviews are saying the same thing "SOB - I don't get it - what am I supposed to do?" That's more a indication of G4 reviewers being spoiled than the game being bad. The game is actually challenging - so if you base your review off of the first five minutes of gameplay then what do you expect to accomplish? I bought the game on both platforms - Ive beat the XBOX and Im half way through the PS3.
If you're a spoiled brat gamer who just wants to camp and shoot people you won't like this game - and IM GLAD - go play Call of Duty and let the real gamers explore new horizons.

Alright well I had high expectations for this game. I had been waiting a long time for it. Don't call me a call of duty fan boy, but I had MORE fun playing call of duty than this game. I have it for the PS3. I also don't like how people just say "just overlook the flaws and its really a good game", Yeah a really good flawed game I spent 60 buckaroos on. This review it pretty damn accurate. The guns are lackluster, the bots are retarded, and the online play is lacking. I think the story is a good idea, and I can actually feel the emotion of each faction. The graphics are good as well and the SMART system is pretty damn fun. Zombiex2588 asks if CoD would be popular without millions in marketing, but that doesn't mean its not a good game regardless. I've been playing CoD since day one, so get off it. CoD is a more fun game in my opinion. It is fair to compare CoD and Brink, they are both first person shooters, both muti-platform, and both have/had high expectations. Brink has the potential to be a great game. But with games being 60$, I honestly can't stand games that don't live up to there potential or that fall short completely. I had high hopes for this game and they were shot down pretty quick. Maybe one days they will fix all mistakes with this game, and it can become something great. I didn't want this game to be CoD, I wanted it to be better.
P.S someone said Morgan is old, still a fox *wink* xD

Ok first of all morgan is like forty by now and does still try to act like a dumb sixteen year old, as does all the g4 crew, but they were right this and other reviews saved me sixty bucks i had it preordered a long time ago and switched my money over to fear 3, it looked awsome on all the trailers but after watching gameplay and seeing reviews, its just not my kind of game. that simple, dont need to bash them for jus ranting bout how bad it is even tho i hate these guys at g4 as much as anyone, but on the flipside they should have just more than a bunch of hate to say about it its a tactical shooter, but obviously everyone and g4 does not have the brain capacity to realize and enjoy it for what it is.

@Vileavator - Exactly! I completely agree. It's one person's opinion, if you like the game go play it, she obviously didn't. You don't have to play only games which Morgan Webb likes. I just find it incredibly funny how every other review I read complained about the same issues, yet this review was 'childish' to many people who support the game.

Poor review, this game has it's problems but it's a breath of fresh air in a shooter genre full of COD and copycat military shooters. The only problems I've really had are a few laggy matches and a bit of confusion from the start because there's so many options and no real tutorial but after an hour or so of playing I got the hang of it, settled into the character I felt most comfortable with and was accomplishing some pretty surprising and unique kills and sneak attacks using the SMART movement system and the weapons DO have quite a difference and unique feel albeit there are a couple that seem like they could have been cut due to similarities in functionality. Overall, the game is fairly mediocre but still great fun if you get into a decent match with players willing to work together. There could have been a few more nuts and bolts tightened here and there to fully compliment all the capabilities this game has and no it's not for everyone, namely those expecting something in the way of military shooters, this is a mix of Team Fortress 2, Halo Reach's Invasion mode and a bit of Borderlands mulitplayer campaign aspect sprinkled in. The game at least deserved a 3 out of 5.

Did they even play the game online ? I'm not sure. That type of game demands real teamplay, like TF2, and not self-pleasure like in CoD multiplayer games.
CoD Black Ops received 5 Stars for a lame laggy and poor multiplayer mode and a horrible solo campaign, with the worst graphics of the franchise ? And Brink received only 2 ?
Come on! Hire some real players G4!
