    Holy crap, wait, do people actually take Morgan Manjaw Webb's opinion seriously? LOL. Brink is an amazing game, I'm seriously not surprised she didn't like it though. It's not a W+M1 game.

    She's right about everything except about the gameplay aspects.

    :: SMART ::
    SMART saved my life so manytimes. I think you got to have the runner's sense like they said in Mirror's Edge game, it's totally the same but In my opinion for sometimes Mirror's Edge is smoother but overall moving around with SMART are faster.

    SMART are not the function that intelligently navigate you through the battlefield, you yourself have to be smart too, have your way to move, flanking, avoiding firefight. I'm not the best player but SMART really saved my life so many many times.

    :: Guns ::
    They're all the same(they're actually have slightly different stats) because like dev said they don't want people only to use "the best gun" or whatever the most overpowered weapons. For me this is the first modern FPS game that I didn't notice there's an annoying kids who use only the most overpowered gun in the game just to score K/D.

    *-the Kross SMG which is the best so far I think but yet not so overpowered.
    *-Grenades actually kills, ALL THE TIME, and knock the rest of surrounding. I think it's pretty balanced and good with BRINK's play style, 1 Grenade mass murder would be suck since you can spam them and there's so many tactics that much more deadly than the grenade alone like Operative group hugs(with explosive and bullets on disguised, suicidal tactic though really worth)

    :: Classes ::
    Morgan is right about the most profitable class are Medic, But without all the classes and good teamwork(that everybody knows their role) result in low chance to win and experience really crappy BRINK time lol. I play this game on PC and have a really good experience online :) not sure about consoles that many of them are CoD or BF players.

    Different classes different roles. There's so many reason to play other class than a medic since each classes have different team support like health buff, damage buff and more. I play as an Operative for most and I'd love to have my health/damage/ammo buff from my teammate before I go on my objectives since Operative spent lots of time doing their own things that other people think they're slacking off but they're actually an unsung heroes(if they don't suck at what they're doing). but like in the previous ET series, Too much operative on your team result in less effective since the class are not major support on the front line unlike the 3 others, without the right person operative is useless to team.(this actually applied to any classes but operative doesn't have direct supportive skills so that rendered them pretty much useless than the others)

    *- BRINK and BF shared the class system but it's completely different, In BRINK you have to commit more on doing your job, not slacking and go for K/D like in BF and still wins.

    The downside about this game that I think dev should really spend more time on before release

    :: There's so many game breaking bugs and some features that should be in modern games::
    - FPS locked at 30(Not really a game breaking but kind of annoying)
    - Online lag, sometimes it felt like you're running in the mud in online match, maybe it's just me but the lagging is very annoying.
    - Like all the ID Tech engines, NO PHYSICS, actually there is but it's almost have none, the crappy ragdoll, crappy grenade bouncing, etc.
    - AI that even worse than ETQW.
    - Server browser lag on PC
    - There should be more customization and maps instead of planning to release those on DLC later is cheap and bad for gamers.

    That's all, I can't think of anything else right now but I do really love this game, probably the first FPS in years that I feel like this is not a crappy game and will bored me out after grinding several ranks.

    4/5 For me :D

    Disappointed that this didn't live up to all the hype, especially when it looked so good E3. For those that are whining about the harsh review here, I appreciate a bit of warning if a game doesn't live up to the promise of polish and good gameplay. Sixty bucks is way too much to plunk down on half-baked mediocrities.

    And to believe I used to listen to her opinion...

    Anyone know what the clowns gave Crysis 2? I'm sure they gave it a stellar review.

    She obviously didn't even play the game if she says things like "You only really need to play medic."

    Not only that, she couldn't even name all the classes.

    This isn't a review. If I read this "review" on a forum I'd be calling the poster a troll. This would be the biggest flame bait / troll thread out there.

    These complaints sound more like those of a spastic 12 year old Call of Duty fan, than those of a professional game reviewer. Especially "The grenades don't kill people!"

    No freaking duh! This has been something that was known for quite some time before the game came out by the fans. I don't see how the media missed it.

    Thought it was an honest review from people who generally know what they're talking about. Just because you disagree with them, doesn't mean they're wrong. And I suspect those who are really bagging on Kevin and Morgan are simply upset because they were comically smashing the game themselves because... well... AOTS and X-Play are entertainment venues. They don't care what you think. And nor should they. They're just there to make whatever they say and do entertaining, and they do that well.

    For those saying G4 is crapping on the game. Admittingly I haven't played the game. But I've read alot of reviews from the major and small sites and they are echoing pretty much everything Morgan said. Useless parkour, bad weapons, laggy online, dumb AI, boring story. I have read these critiques from many sites. I don't usually base whether I buy a game on reviews alone but when they all seem to be in agreement about the cons, it holds alot of weight. Wasen't planning on buying it anyways especially after the worst hands on preview I have ever seen for a game in the last E3. If Gamespot, 1UP, Gamer Limit, etc had there own tv show, they would probably do the same thing.

    You guys are saying portal 2 is awesome... I'm sorry but you guys have a flawed opinion on the game, and well, you are lame if you can't figure out how to play. Portal 2 is just a big boring puzzle... And no the guns are not the same...
