I can understand why publishers and devs are looking to stick multiplayer in all sorts of games since that is seen as a boost to sales, but as they pointed out on the show, a person has to really focus on one or two games if they want to remain competitive. Honestly, more devs need to do what Rocksteady did with Arkham City. They need to sit down, ask themselves if multiplayer will make for a better OVERALL game, or if they should focus on singleplayer and make that experience better. People only have a finite amount of time to play, so if your game doesn't bring something great to the multiplayer table, they'll just look elsewhere.

Where is the I-Tunes version of the show??? I know it's free and you don't owe us anything but could you PLEASE add all of the shows to I-tunes and not forget an MMO report or a Soapbox or a Comic show like it has happened before. Thank You.

Very good episode. I usually don't watch this show but enjoyed the coverage. I like Sessler as a host but watching this and "Sessler's Soapbox" seems like he is trying to hard and just needs to relax and he will do a good show.

I love how Jesse (great guest host BTW) had to tell the Feedback crew multiple times that Sony did a good job with telling it's customers about the breach. I'm really surprised they didn't edit that part out.

As it turns out, chat logs aren't really a reliable source.

Look, if Sony was really running unpatched Apache servers with no firewall (http://slashdot.org/story/11/ 05/05/1455249/Sony-Running-Unp atched-Servers-With-No-Firewal l), and personal info in clear text (and apparently credit card info readily available) that was NEGLIGENT. I work for a medical practice management and electronic health record software company. With the advent of HIPAA, I would lose my job, possibly go to jail and my company would be out of business immediately if we made those decisions.

A lot of the time on this show, when they bring in someone who hasn't been on before they tend to flounder and get buried, not really bringing anything of significance to the table. This was a very welcome change and probably one of the better episodes they've had recently.

My one problem is that it takes a long time for it to get on iTunes, in fact, it STILL isn't on iTunes. My iPod Touch is my preferred method of watching this show, and it becomes very frustrating for it to be available in every way but mine.

I really liked this show. I hope there are more of them. I thought 50 minutes wasn't enough lol.

I found the discussion on superhero games very interesting because I have had the same points discussed stuck in my head for years. First of all, the best type of superhero game to come out has been the ultimate alliance type game, for multiple reasons. It has close to every hero or villain, unlockable characters, and the way it is set up it is a team based game, which most superheroes are part of a team. With that said, I agree with Jesse Divinich when I think he said that it sucks that your character can only fly six feet above ground. Now you take a look at a game like Halo and its co-op. its split screen right, so wouldnt it make sense to have a superhero game with split screen co-op so that all dynamic attributes of the realm of superheroes can be explored. Combine that with the gameplay they have in AC: Brotherhood i.e third person but not overtop like ultimate alliance, the recruiting and upgrading aspects, the whole city to explore and areas to unlock. With that you could have a speedster on the ground like the flash, and have batman in his plane scouting in the air for a villain, and give coordinates to the flash to race across the city and get him.

Now you're probably thinking: this guy is an idiot, just go play DCUO.
The difference between what I'm talking about and DCUO is that first of all its MMO, and I'm thinking RPG. With my idea, you have a character you create (obviously because customization is a main criteria for games these days) but I think the shift away from a full on campaign co-op mode is killer for some games. And the advantages to having a choice between co-op and online multiplayer are apparent.

And then a game like darkspore where every little addition changes a stat.

I could go on and on about different games and their attractive attributes, but the main point is that people want everything in a game these days. As I just did in the paragraph above, people are starting to say oh I wish this game was more like this game and I wish this game had the feature that this game has.

Why don't game developers just shove everything in to one? Customization, RPG elements, MMO elements such as quests and say vehicles (or mounts lol) and customizable home base, and then add in the superhero main story line or multiple main story lines, and then the free roam aspect with the choice between split screen or online.

And yes my thoughts are getting a little disorganized by this point but it only because I have a huge problem with the way superhero games are portrayed to the way they should be portrayed.

any comments would be appreciated and tell me if I went wrong somewhere with this whole comment.

I wonder if anyone else has noticed the small woman sitting in the corner. She was there last feedback too. I see her taking notes so it makes me think she's an intern but if she is more important I wouldn't mind hearing. If not on the next feedback at least a comment response.

Can somebody tell me if this is just an hour-long "let's bash Sony" party before I watch? Getting a little sick of Feeback's recent attitude toward the PS3.
