Adam and his singing in the middle to end just made me laugh. I don't know why but I love that guy! So all over the place

Good thing Morgan Webb wasn't on this one, other wise we wouldn't hear the end of it about Sony with her.

I've said this before, but the only thing other than more power that I want to see from Nintendo's new console is the ability to bring over my virtual console games, as well as backwards compatibility. I don't wanna have to keep my Wii around just to play those games. Less clutter FTW!

I love how Adam gets stuck on the first word in a sentence. It's like he has to repeat that first word six times before he can move on. Cracks me up every time.

Also I just thought of something small Project Cafe should include. its a very small detail but it makes a difference to me personally. if HD games are going to be released cross platform on PS3, 360 and Proj. Cafe then What often is the deciding factor is Achievements. If I don't care about getting achievements in a certain game, like a fighting game, I'll probably get the PS3 version. But in an Action-Adventure style game where there are secrets that I can find, i go the 360 route because I just don't care about trophies. I just think its a flawed concept and there is something addicting about increasing your gamerscore that trophies just don't do for me. If Nintendo can figure out an achievement system that is better than trophies, I might consider that version over the 360 version. Acheivements get me in 360 games and they get me in Game Center iOS games. So yea, not that big a deal but an Achievement system would definitely make me consider picking up multiplatform games for their new console.

I kinda can't help but think that future Playstation console's online features might not be free anymore because of this. Seeing as how this is most likely gonna be a significant shot in the wallet for Sony for not only potential legal ramifications this might have, but also future security maintenance for the PSN. Also, this is a huge wake up call for the PSN, as well as (you'd have to think) a wake up call to other online gaming services such as Xbox live. Granted, MS has more experience than Sony with network security, but who's to say hackers won't try to bring down Xbox live? It's a huge shame that this happened, and like @MasterNoble6, I'm starting to get a little angry that it's taking so long to get back up. Mainly because I want to clear all of my card's info from my PSN account (I'm buying PSN network cards from now on to add currency to my account), as well as eventually wanted to try Portal 2's online CO-OP. I'm a PS+ member, so I'm hoping Sony gives me some compensation for this, whether it be an extension of my membership, or some free download. If I get nothing, it'd be unacceptable. Also @VassagoRaR, go back under your bridge to play COD or Halo on live u troll.

    About the PSN shutdown.

As I am led to understand (Mind you this is not confirmed as the cause and is only speculation) An individual was able to configure his custom firmware for the PS3 to allow PSN to recognize it as a "Dev PS3". The purpose was to allow the person to download content off of the PSN for free. However, Dev PS3's also have access to specific information such as personal informations, passwords, etc.

In realizing "unauthorized access" to the PSN network they shut it down as a precaution.

If the above is true then Sony is investigating the breaches to PSN seeing where the rouge console had gone looking and then rebuilding PSN to not only prevent further intrusion from custom firmware, but to also add protection so if one does go through, personal information is safe.

Again this is not confirmed information. Believe and discuss at your own risk.

I would like to take this time to apoligize to SONY. Im sorry SONY, on behalf of all ps gamers, for you having to go through all of this because of some dude (bill gates), hacking into your system and setting off this terrible chain of events. And thank you for doing all you can to resolve this issue, and for being a no nonsense company who doesnt nickle and dime me for EVERYTHING, and putting out the highest quality products possible (i didnt say cheap) that I enjoy.

I've also been hearing that apparently Sony has been storing user information in plain text files with no encryption whatsoever. Not sure how true those claims are, but this is a massive Sony screw up from any angle.
