Having played and beaten every RE game i have to say 4 was not only the best in the series but also the greatest game i have ever played. I can't wait for RE4 HD so i can beat it for the 20somethingth time.

resident evil 4 and 5 are the best . old re game are 2 boring except for zero that was pretty cool.

Honestly I could care less about playing the Old games in HD. Only games I want to see brought to the PS3 are the old GTA games. But thats not gonna happen from rockstar. But capcom should just make a new game with zombies and a new story line. You don't even need crazy monsters. Just zombies and a open world like any big sand box game.

Have to agree with MeanBob91, Resident Evil 2 for Playstation was the best. I remember there was quite a buzz when the game was coming out, And once I played it Resident Evil deffinitly became one of my favorite video game franchies of all time.

RE will hold a special place as the First Game I Skipped Work to Play! Just couldn't turn it off, had to call out "sick"... the birth of a genre. All the games stand up well in comparison. Good RE4 and X are finally being updated.
