At least two of those events will actually happen around the same time frame as depicted in these games in our very near future. Call me a "commie" but I just feel it in my bones.

homefront kicks ass don't care what anyone says great story and multiplayer

Hey, another 4 years of Obama's multi- trillon dollar deficits, no drilling for oil anywhere but Brazil and an EMP, don't be so sure we couldn't trade places with Korea. I think the multiplayer is great, when the servers and the party features work. Not bad at all, a bit like Frontlines in an urban setting.

Is it possible to change difficulty on Homefront? If so, how?

I agree with their rating. I have the game myself and it is good but not great. The guns online are too inacurate to the real thing. In the real world the M4 world kill someone in 1-2 shots but on the game it takes 5. The maps are great, better than Call of Duty but you cant shoot through walls.

Even though the video makes absolutely NO sense, it was still EPIC.

Homefront was a cookie cutter FPS that had all of its cookies robbed by the Cookie Monster and all that was left were the crumbs. Great Idea for a story and then fell apart moments into the game to the point I stopped caring about it. The graphics were so blah in most areas that it was hard to feel a part of the story. The last flaw was how bad the linear actually was, practically no freedom to adjust your route or attack on the mission, You basically had a predetermined route u had to take.
Single Player Campaign is about 4 hours long for a first time run through on Hard.

The Homefront news stuff has a great feel, and they did a good job, but I just can't take the North Korean plot seriously. I understand that video games are all about suspension of disbelief, but it's nearly as ridiculous as saying Rhode Island succeeded from the union and then took over the world, and not as funny.
However, Homefront had a tough job of trying to come up with a new enemy AND a believable plot, so kudos to them for thinking out-of-the-box.
P.S. I want to play a game where Rhode Island succeeds from the union and takes over the world now.

Homefront= awesome kickass story with a super kickass multiplayer
Crysis 2= kickass graphics with terrible future story

well... Homefront got amazingly lucky with all the news that happend before the game so they had so much footage that applied to the game that they could put it in there and it would make sense.
HOMEFRONT= most advertised game ever

Did you get payed to make this? Hey G4, whatever your paying this guy to edit together two cutcenese for no reason, I'll do it for half that.

Crysis in my opinion is what Halo Reach should have been. Absolutely amazing graphics. The AI can be a bit retarded sometimes but, I suppose the fact that you can be invisible leads credibility to guys just standing around not knowing what to do. Sound is perfect, really great score.
I haven't touched the multiplayer yet, but as of now the single player campaign has had multiple moments that have made me say "No way" out loud. The attention to detail is pretty impressive. Whether it is a sniper in the top of a bell tower that in any other game would be unaccessible, or a concrete street barrier disintegrating as bullets tear it apart... just amazing.
Also, G4... I know this will never, ever, ever happen. But it would be great if when you reviewed a game you not only mentioned how long the game was, but on what difficulty that length represents. Because if you play Crysis 2 on Super Soldier, it will not be a 5 or 6 hour game. And I think a lot of gamers would benefit a lot more from a review discussing the hardest difficulty over say, easy or normal.
At least I would.

I thought Homefront had a great story but was to short. The campaign needed to be longer for a truly great game. I have not played Crysis 2 yet but I'm hoping that in my mind it redeems the first Crysis.
