It's pretty disappointing that there is no Rift news for the 2nd week in a row. Especially coming off a very smooth launch. I don't wanna say it's "payola", but there is surely something afoot here. This was the 1st place I saw the game, and Casey had nothing but good things to say about it. Now that it's here, and was netter than most expected....mum is the word. Either way, the game is getting buzz, but it's kinda jarring that the MMO report is starting to look like Fox News.

I get upset when i hear news about GW2. I want that game so bad that it upsets me that i dont have it. But i understand what they are doing. The want the game to come out right and im with that. This game is promising a lot and i am extremely excited, so i cant wait. Where is a time machine when you need one?

A lot of people are really excited about Guild Wars 2 and I agree that it looks cool but I just didn't like the first one at all so I'm having trouble getting excited about a sequel.

By the way, Rift is incredible!!!

lies there are tons of problems worth talking about in rift! like how we arent getting free lvls to 50...or the massive amount of wow comparisons!

ok...you are right casey schreiner...the game went flawlessly...but only because they managed to find the secret to the source of the power that your awesome beard has!

Wow, you can't just get a break with Guild Wars 2.
First saying it's made by NCsoft when it's really being made by ArenaNet.
Now it's Guild Wars 2 will be released in 2012. It will be coming out in 2011, when in 2011? When it's ready.

Although it took an ArenaNet dev on the Guildwars2guru forums to set it straight.
"We will be conducting small closed alpha and beta tests in 2011. The feedback from these tests will determine when we will do public beta tests and ship the game."
They will be shipping the game in 2011.

If you noticed the first letter in the mailbag mentioned making the maelstrom like a rift from Rift. That mmo that the MMO report has pretty much ignored the last 10 days. It's had a very smooth launch and deserves some media love.
