    Hey Adam,

Just letting you know that they do talk about Varric's beard in the game, although it is obscure. You have to have Fenris in your party with Varric and while you are walking around, Fenris comments on it and they have a funny little discussion about it.

(Not seeing my post, so I guess I'll try posting it again, hope it isn't a double)

I agree with Matt on a lot of things in DA:2. Also, I'm one that does spend quite a bit of time with the Tactics menu for all my characters. I remember a few times spending 20-30 min. with it in DA:O. I'm sure I'll do the same with DA:2, already have once so far, about 10 min or so.

Taunt is very important, just know that. Besides that, there's a few other skills that Warriors and even Rogues have that help get enemies off someone getting wailed on. You just have to know how to set up the Tactics well enough.

A really good tactics queue that everyone should program their mage (or them self if they are playing as a mage in case you play as someone else here and there), is to use the frost spell on an enemy, and then right after that, use the rock spell on an enemy that is "Brittle", to shatter them. Even program your warrior or rogue to "Attack" an enemy that is "Brittle". Even have another warrior use "Taunt" if your main tank is at "Health >25%". Just little things can really help out.

I liked in KoToR and never winter where you would have an action Que so you could tab around your party and set up the next 3 or so actions that character would without freezing the game all to often or if at all. Surprised we don't see more of that for control entire party real time action rpgs more often. Seems like a simple feature that works wonders.

I started playing DA one but put it down because the game seemed like never winter but lacking to me. will check out DA2 to see if its picked up but doesn't look it too much and will def. borrow or rent before I buy.

You guys forgot to bleep out adam's "who gives a ____" but honestly I prefer it that way. I didn't even realize it until I heard something bleeped out towards the end. I forgot swearing is bad. =(

I read is 360 review and PCgamers PC review. I hope the flaws in the combat do not carry over to the PC version.

It's disappointing that RPG games are going this one button combat rout. The way Adam describes it sound like the same experience I got out of FF13.

If devs want to make a hack-n-slash dungeon crawler, fine. Just don't market it as a tactical RPG.

There was a lot of male Dwarves in DA:O that didn't have beards, it was really weird.

I would like to comment on Adam saying that as a warrior, you are naturally going to be putting your points into strength instead of what the game wants you to put points into, stamina. That reminded me a lot of what happened in Hellgate London where no one knew it for a while but the entire points system you were supposed to put all your puts into stamina and only what you had to for weapons in armor into strength and everyone hated Flagship for it. It kind of makes me wonder why Bioware would make the same mistake, especially when Hellgate was a rather big game from EA as well.

I'm not into the Dragon Age or Elder Scrolls medieval fantasy type games. So I can't really talk about specifics. But from what I gather, Adam did not dislike the game as a whole. He was just disappointed that certain aspects of the game were not in line with what Bioware has been producing this console generation.
His candid thoughts should be a warning for those who do not absolutely have to buy this title right now. Those who are deeply loyal to the story and lore of DA like I am with ME will probably not be disappointed. I think he just had a few what were they thinking moments that adversely affected his ability to fully enjoy the game.
If you want it get it. If it was a maybe, you should probably wait til the price drops. Simple as that.

Same here jsnows007, it just seems dull without her.

Sort of how things were after Patrick left, but there were other personalities to help fill in the blanks then. They both had an energy about them that no one else besides Adam has, now all we have left are Adam and Matt, but I guess I can include who I will dub "Sometimes-Steve" lol.

I just find the show hit and miss now, it used to be something i'd watch every week, but now it all depends on the topic the show covers.
