Fox "News" is nothing but propaganda that caters to the intellectual lightweights of the middle American right. Ignorant, superstitious, country folk that are still terrified at the fact that there's a black man in the White House. Like ABaconBusAflame said, there just an organization of trolls that try to demonize anything that's not within the limited boundaries of what they perceive to be the status que.

I learned from the what happened when Fox tried to get Mass Effect banned that Fox isn't worth paying attention to on these matters. They're gravely misinformed on these subjects. You would think they'd have learned by now.

Wow, Mr. Sessler, I am amazed. I usually watch your Soapbox's for your well thought out discussions and the like. However, I just lost an immense amount of respect for you after your insulting remark towards Fox news, particularly Glenn Beck.
While you are most certainly entitled to your own opinions, I thought you would be convey such opinions in a more professional manner. I also heard you say that Fox tends to embolden its viewers with a certain viewpoint, which seemed to irk you. However, wouldn't your remarks concerning Fox do much the same to your audience? I guess it's ok for you, though, because a sense of superiority and double standards do run rampant among the more liberally-minded citizens of this country.
As a side note, Fox news has been covering the turmoil in Egypt and the rest of the Middle East. But I guess you were already aware of that, since your complete knowledge of that fact was so cleary portrayed in your statements.

If you look at it on another way, this is good publicity for Bulletstorm, it certainly didn't hurt the sales for Mass Effect. when Fox News took shots at it.
Now this stunt Fox News pulled, it's best gaming websites to stop giving it so much press. In the 80's didn't Fox nearly went under, if it wasn't for some lady in Michigan and her mission to cancel one of Fox shows. But it did the opposite and because of her crusade, the show became a hit for the network, gave them so much revenue and well, you know the rest with Fox.

Honestly I don't think "articles" and "reports" like these are going to start big fires anymore. The people that do get riled up by this are either, gamers who are upset about it, or a group of people that is so small can do nothing about it. Seeing as most of the population of this country falls under the category of "gamer" in one way or another, none of them/us can agree with that "article" without giving up gaming first.

Although I do not agree with what fox is saying about the game, I will not stop watching Fox News because they are the only trust worthy news station in America. All other news stations are for Socialists.

Does anybody really tune in to Fox News for anything relevant? Really? I mean, honestly?
Fox News is to legitimate journalism what the Jerry Springer Show was to legitimate interview programs (like Charlie Rose and such). You tune in to one for mind-numbing, vapid entertainment and shock... the other you tune in to satisfy your higher brain functions and perhaps actually LEARN something. If Fox News was actually interested in bringing news, you'd think that at least ONE poll over the years would reflect some improvement... would show that their viewers *aren't* the least informed, despite thinking they're the most informed... poll after poll after poll...

The article/soapbox is pretty self defeating then, no? If he truly didn't care about what they said, the soapbox would have been about something else. Go ahead and make mention of it, yet don't devote the entire episode to it.

I have no idea what Carol Lieberman is talking about in regards to video games showing a correlation to rape. As far as I know there are no studies of substance validating such a claim. However there are studies that do show video games does increase aggressive behavior but to push to actual violence is a bit of a stretch.
