I can see this being a good tool for someone who swims regularly. Especially if it can read hand placement and recovery angles as it showed in the trailer, but there's a huge difference between doing the strokes upright and out of the water than when you're actually horizontal and pulling the water.
What I don't understand is how you can make this a full retail game, it seems more like a mini game that would be included in a sports collection game. I think the company should have spent their time making a scuba diving game, with Michael Phelps, and they could have included a mode where Michael Phelps challenges the ocean life to a race to the death. So you can go up to a shark and challenge it to a race if you win you get to eat the shark, if you lose the shark gets to eat you.
maybe there will be a minigame where you sit in front your tv/kinect with a bong and see who takes bigger rips you or phelps, due to the games competitive nature and attention to detail and realism of course :p
maybe it will include a mini game where you just sit in front of your kinect with a bong and see whether you or phelps can take bigger rips, due to the games competitive nature and attention to detail of course
michael phelps... ha
I just don't see how this would work....
i'll just stick to the actual pool
