Its been a long time since i've purchased a nintendo product. That being a Gameboy Advance sp and I have to say that the 3DS looks very interesting and with the research i've done I can't wait to buy it. it does seem bad that there is going to a short wait time for the other 3d games to come out, but it doesn't matter to me because im going to get pokemon white the same day i get the 3ds

It all depends on if the 3D works, doesn't make me sick, the games are priced reasonable and when the games I want do finally launch for the thing. Disappointing most "launch titles" are now "launch window titles" whatever that means (I know what it means). Zelda: OoT, SSFIV, Starfox, RE:R, Mario Kart and Paper Mario are the ones I'm most looking forward to.

FFF, didn't mean to up your comment @antihero_01. How would you know it fails? Have you tried one? I think you should take your fanyboy-ism out of your reply and re-post. I love Sony but I think Nintendo sold the show. They're taking it to a whole new level.

@GmaGaby, I have the Droid X, PS3, and basically already bought my 3DS and I am considering getting the NGP. Exclusive games and other features are what makes the system, not just small features.

Having an Andriod phone, a PS3 and a 3DS means that the NGP is a complete and total waste of money!!!

Looks good. Still hedging on launch vs. waiting. $250 is a big bite, but waiting runs the risk of getting one moments before 3DS Prime comes out.

Was 3DS e-shop just a placeholder name? I thought they'd play off the existing naming scheme with "Virtual Handheld" and "3DSWare". I wonder if they'd open the door to the other handhelds Nintendo smacked down over the years.

I already have mine paid off. I am a hardcore Sony fanboy but I think I'll hold off on the NGP. I already have a PS3, and all the NGP is a portable PS3. Nintendo has done an excellent job marketing and got me hooked. I'm also presuming the NGP will cost more, which I will get later on after that release date. Good news is, the 3DS and NGP release at different parts of the year, so if you can afford it, why not get both?

definitely getting this I probably wont be able to get it for a while but I have never seen 3d so I dont know if its bad or not but its a good thing they give you the option to turn 3d off.

Since my DS that I got at launch is on its last legs, I would go for the 3DS.

I don't know, I don't know. I really want to see someone who knows what they are doing playing the 3DS not the actors (pornstars?) that are hired to play for people. I want the Sess to get a camera sit down and play OoT and show us what the darned thing can do. I want to see a real demo of a game before I commit 250 dollars.

When I get the disposable income, I'm definitely getting my hands on this. I'm extremely excited about Ocarina 3DS!

I do want to see for myself how the 3D looks, but I tell you, movies have me against 3D. First I have to put a pair of glasses on top of mine and they sit right on the tip of my nose. For what? Depth. That aside, I hate being forced to see a movie in 3d (Green Hornet) because the glasses it take away from the brightness.

The 3DS solves both these problems with a trade off for brain dama- I mean head aches. Dunno which is better. Am I the only anti-3D (not anti-DS) person on here? Ah well.

Getting a 3DS at or near launch if I can find one...this made the wait a bit more harsh, but still bearable...
