I think LA Noire is an easier sell than Red Dead. Look at other games within LA Noire's genre: The Godfather games and other gangster things (I know it isn't necessarily about gangsters but that's what people will think when they see it). And open world games in cities is very common and something people will instantly understand and will be easy to grasp.
Also I love you Stephen Johnson for what you said about 3D and I don't think anyone could put it any better: 3D is being forced on the consumer and the consumer DOES NOT WANT IT. Sure technologically speaking 3D is a big step forward, but sometimes "forward/progress" isn't necessarily for the best.

Great epssiode of Feedback. To Abbie Heppe, I can only wish u well in the future now that you're moving on from G4, as well as a speedy recovery from being hit by a van. I've been hit by a car before while riding a bike, so I know how it feels.

I don't know why people are saying the 3DS price is too high. I don't think so. Look at the pricing of good head phones, iPods/mp3 players, cell phones: try buying a high end cell phone of the latest generation withou a plan and get back to me.

Besides, the DS is still selling respectufully, so it's only natural that only, if not mostly, early adopters will buy the 3DS at lauch--and these people will pay for anything, if it's cool and new--Gen Y.
The fact that it comes with hardcore games like SSF4, it even makes wanna buy it, and I don't buy portable consoles.

Nintendo is at an all-time high when it comes to popularity and hype, just like Apple is. It's cool to get their brands, they need to maximize on that. At least they aren't being arrogant to the point of saying that "the next generation starts when we say so."
They are still beating the PSP2 out of the gate. Not that they needed to, but it doesn't hurt them either. BTW, the PSP2 looks sick! Have you seen it? Can't wait to see it in action.
Wanna bet they will still have shortages during the launching period, even at $250? If I were you, I wouldn't bet against it.

And Adam needs to stop making casual people out as dumb people. The moms, or whoever buy consoles for other people are smart enough to learn in due time that a Nintendo 3DS is new and it has 3D in it. IT's A PUN after all.

the only reason why the ending of portal has so many views on youtube is because valve did not update orange box that has portal..or the portal still alive(aracde) with the new ending leading up too 2...only pc people got to see the portal 2 ending in portal 1 because is was added as an update.

With Homefront claiming 32player matches and DEDICATED SERVERS, do you think we MIGHT just see MICROSOFT/XBOX LIVE try to work with developers so we don't have all of these network issues; (mainly lagging out of games/unplayable due to lag and Netflix downgrading from HD-toSD)? Like maybe XBOX LIVE having game-specific filters to screen modding and network manipulation? I have seen this issue compound with every shooter/multi-player FPS games over the last few years and I would hope that MICROSOFT is listening. My ISP/connection is 10MB down and 2MB up and I have NO ISSUES with most games, just COD and HALO mostly. Even Red Dead Redemption seems ROCK SOLID compared to HALO REACH these days, and Rockstar listened to their players...(Undead Nightmare is BEST DLC ever!) Didn't Bungie or 343(whoever is running the MP aspect of Halo these days...lol) listen to FEEDBACK from ME, and the other quarter-million beta-testers??? LAGGING is the WORST issue in ANY FPS/online MP game, period. Thanks for your time, been a fan for years!

Dead Space 2 is awesome. I find that the game kicks my ass on a regular basis but in a good way. Definitely lots of more overwhelming areas where you can be outnumbered or dead within a few seconds. The Javelin is one wicked weapon in the game.

Their are some less scary moments in the game but very few. I also totally agree on the atmosphere parts especially the part if you played the first game their is one creepy as hell.

To bad on Abbie leaving, never thought I would see the day!! Its seems the old original feedback crew are now broken up with only Matt and Adam only left!! Not to say the new people are not great its just sad to see the people leave that contributed so much at the start and that has made Feeback an awesome show.You will be missed Abbie.
