I think he's new to the Crysis series, you should use Cloak when your a sniper, he goes running around with it -.- what's the point of using it?
hi my name is Brian and i was wondering if there is any way to get crysis 2 or a playable demo of crysis 2. I am disabled and have problems using certain controls. I want to see if I can control the game before I buy it. In the past month I have tried Mafia 2 and Black ops. Both were difficult to control. I heard about the vr helmet for crysis 2 and I hope that will work for me because I love the crysis games. I play crysis 1 and currently crysis warhead and they were awesome. So I would like just a sample to see if I can still control the character. Currently I have the razer naga but I am left handed and it is a right handed mouse. I was able to play enemy territory quake wars. Still finishing it. but working on it. I also played the first bioshock. Can you please help or give me someone who can. My email email@example.comPlease post your emails in all caps on the subject line
Well going from Crysis and Crysis Warhead on PC to this provided some mixed results. Ending in confusion and some frustration which can be expected since it is a Demo. Considering the fact that Crytek is a PC centric company going the console route for the first time in awhile. They did some crazy compression of data for this game to work on a console. Considering the fact that ALL games are made on a PC and tested on Alpha consoles it is fair to think that they should have made a PC Demo for all the PC enthusiasts to have a taste too. It is only fair considering a lot of people have 3 or 4 graphics cards with liquid cooling quad and hexa core processors and they want to see what CryEngine 3 is truly capable of with heavy tessellation and high Anti-Aliasing on 1200p monitors. Think about my logic please.
Flame me now but man oh man where's the knife close combat kill ability lol.
there's a noticeable lag when I was playing. They could probable fix it with dedicated servers, but that's got to be patched before they ship it. Otherwise, I'm stunned and can't wait to play the full game.
This is built for pc, the anti analizsng is non existent. The game was destined for the next revolution of consoles. but it was made as a port for consoles for more profit.Since any one will buy in to a 1st person market these days, the cry engine 3 was suppose to push consoles architecture by 10 percent. no doubt you can see it's a port, but yes it also is a demo, but to realize for 2 gig a down load for 1 level is not looking good for me, as person who has played crysis wars, you cannot compare a jungle to a urban city, it's just impossible. this game reminds me of skyline the movie. tho that's ok.As final fantasy is for ps3, and crysis is for pc. you cannot expect developers who built all their time on these platforms, the only difference is games can be ported. and that raises questions on quality and the internal engine, as some games are better built for some and others for others.
Playing it, the map detail is amazing. the movement on the map feels more dynamic than halo or Cod, and blows killzone and gears of war away. The maps design is by far one of the most interactive maps I have ever played on, little spaces to duck. be it you are looking for close qurters combat or long range the game has it.Cant wait to see other maps. It does feel a bit rigid at times while moving around but much better then Killzone or GOW. Limitation of weapons is kind of annoying( AKA not secondary quick weapons, grenades, throwing knife, tatical weapons). Also I want to be able to go prone upon reloading. I will be buying it though.
Was not that good
I actually had a blast with this last night. The controls were alot like other FPS but I like that. Jumped right in and started getting kill streaks. Did feel like halo,COD and alittle like Killzone when the red dot was up. But it was fun. Going to hop back on tonight and try and drop my fist down on somebody.
For a game that probably originally wasn't going to have a MP I thought it was fairly decent, I don't know if Crytek knew or not but they put all of the game modes they didn't reveal in the leader boards. The only thing I didn't like about this demo was the 1-2 second delay on everything like the only demo servers are in Europe or something. Also guys remember when you start the demo they say in yellowish writing at the bottom that it's not the finished quality of the product and things are not final also you people should know that the full quality of a game isn't usually put into a demo as we have seen from previous demos like the BC2 MP demo where the graphics for the demo weren't as good as the actual game.
Game is epic. Combines things from Reach and CoD and mixes it into a game that is, IMO, way better than both Reach and any CoD, except maybe 4. Preordering it right now and buying it the day it comes out. Gameplay is very situational and you have to be smart and quick not to mention good at aiming. I love it, even thugh the guns could use more recoil b.c. it's super easy to aim.
Maybe it's just the guy playing it but this game doesn't look too fun...
Anyone else feel like the level design looked really but character models sucked?...... Maybe the Crytek3 engine wasn't meant for in game characters but sometimes I enjoy playing as and shooting at things that don't look like mush..... But it does look like the baby that COD and Halo left at someones door step
It looks like something resulting from halo doing it with call of duty.
Yeah, this guy really really sucks at this game. What is this, first time playing a shooting game?
it was alot like cod4 but with powers lol, there are killstreaks and custom classes and some perk like bonuses. i kinda like it mainly just using the powers and super jumping but it did feel a little sluggish
this guys gameplay will not help sales
tried it ..didnt like it....feels to rigid.
