Can't believe everyone posting have not mentioned the story ramifications of this video! Outlining the Rachni Queen decision as pivotal, even though it had no effect of Mass Effect 2, means it will definitely come into play in ME3.

Also, the fact that the narrator says "Saren died believeing the Reapers would revive him." But then she doesnt mention how he did come back briefly and served as the final boss fight. This is a big hint that he will be revived once again in ME3, which is totally awesome! Since ME2 kind of lacked a villian you could really hate.

Also the way the narator talks about Udina and Anderson, makes me think that based on who you chose as council member, will have major ramifications in ME3. In ME2 is basically just determined one interaction on the Citadel.

I know it wasnt the most relevent thing in the story but it was a "main" story quest that needed to be passed in order to go to virmire. Anyone remember Feros? Remember the Thorian that made the colonists on Freos that much creepier? It wouldve been cool to see that represented in comic form...

I don't want to turn this into a 360 vs. P23 but you really are missing out by not playing the 1st one. Just the satisfaction I got from seeing everyone from the 1st game in the 2nd game instead of the feel of being introduced to everyone at the same time by just playing the 2nd one. It's like seeing Empire Strikes Back and just reading a quick synopsis of A New Hope.

I think this is a cool idea as a continuation into ME2. Also it allows you to make big decisions in the first game that will affect ME2. I'm sure that the comic lacks the experience of the game but all in all since ME2 is a better game why go back? Personally, I'm surprised they didn't just offer a ME1 download for PS3. Would have been a money maker for them without having to spend money on discs. The comic is a good option since they didn't do that.

Not as many choices as i would have wanted the PS3 users to have since there are sooo many others that impact ME2 but not bad they get the big ones but the semi-minor onces like Feros. It's awesome PS3 players get to play ME games have fun guys, me i'll be buying it for the 360 along with the first 2 i already have.

People the reason ME1 could be in the package with it because Microsoft published the it so it's really a Xbox/PC exclusive and ME1 has some problems that they would need to develop over that might take up more time. (Can't skip cut-scenes after first playthrough, a little bit buggy, mako controls, all that kind of stuff)

What they should have done was ported a double collection of both ME's to the PS3 like the God Of War collection pack on 1 disc so that you started with ME1 and once that was done it went straight into ME2. But no they just ported ME2 just like they did with Saint's Row. And all they gave was a comic of a couple of minutes describing the story of ME1 which i put hours upon hours into. Anyone saying it did justice is just kidding themselves....

The female Shepard's voice actor is 1000 times better than the male Shepard's.

It's better Bioware release ME on the PS3 but seeing as it was published by Microsoft, it won't happen. So I guess this is sufficient.

Guys can we chill on the console flaming? Speaking fairly as someone who owns both systems but plays primarily on PS3, I think we can all agree that the "primary" experience is on 360 (no offense PC users, but back in the day you were just a port at first just like us). Plus 360's controller is awesome.

The PS3 version, while gorgeous thanks to ME3's engine, is apparently missing minor characters (cannot confirm myself, only played ME1 on 360 and ME2 on PS3), and the comic, while awesome at what it does, glosses over so much. Its simply a tool, not a replacement. It's not trying to be.

All this talk about "fake lighting" and "hollow shells". Dude, get over it, your experience is not hampered by the existence of this game on another platform. Some of us have had ME1 since its launch on 360 and would like to play the sequel without fear of another Red Ring =P

But, honestly, as someone who's playing through it now on PS3, I wish I had just bought it for 360 a year ago. But I'm glad its available.

I wish the Xbox would have had this, then I could have just not played Mass Effect 1. This pretty much sums it up, and saves you a lot of time and money. It's not that the first game is terrible, it's just that the vehicle sucks, and the second game is so much better, so it's hard to go back to the first game. Side note, do not make the choices the person in this video made.

From PSU a magazine dedicated to the PS3.

"The high quality productions values. Simply put, this is one of the best looking games you'll ever play.
The whole Mass Effect 2 universe, comprised of superb characters, interesting planets and strong script writing.
The intense battles and missions. Plus, there are some great powers and weapons and issuing commands is a breeze"
