The worst game to ever come to the PS3... I mean the game is just annoyingly boring & dead. I cannot see why the hype for the game was so much. I have to say the XDVDbox players had nothing better to play why they love it so much... thks PS3 an SONY for great exclusives...making this crap ME2 seems like an old 90's sci-fi video game. It just sucks!!!

M$ had to be paying those review sites for the high review scores they game the once XDVDbox exclusive ME2. There is no way this game deserves even 3/5....or a 7/10. So disappointing!!

Thumb down as U want it's my personal experience with the game cause I played it an had to stop.

Poorly done. I was expecting a motion comic like this:

I personally think this is BETTER than Mass Effect 1. I never played Mass Effect 1 when it came out, and I got Mass Effect 2 when it came out and I was... WOWed by it. So I stopped playing it after a day or so and grabbed Mass Effect 1 (So I can have my own story and choices and understand some of the background). I found Mass Effect 1 very clunky and very IFy and some of those Mako missions wanted to make me vomit and the maps all looked the same. I barely finished it. Luckily I did. Now I had this great Mass Effect 2 starter person. Only if I had this interactive comic - of course, I be a bit different.

Looking at this and thinking on how I played. There are allot of subtle differences. I was drawn with Ashley's strength and weakness and picked her as a romantic partner instead of picking someone else. Likewise, the Rachni Queen conversation actually swayed me into saving them. The conviction of Wrex saved him as well. I almost had him killed. The comic, I think, would have made me pick different choices.

Regardless, you PS3ers are lucky. I almost want to pick it up for the PS3... just to play the comic. I am not a Mass Effect XBOX user... I am a PC User and I also own a PS3.

I just completed ME2 on the PS3, and it was very slow and boring at times to play. For a "Game of the Year" #1 winner, I really think inhere were far better choices to give that award to.

Well considering that this was done quickly, it did an OK job at explaining the main plot of ME1. I guess they didn't want to make it too long & complicated for the PS3 gamers playing. *insert PS3 gamer intelligence level joke here* lol but in all seriousness, I think they would be better off just playing the cannon choices already made in the game for you & finding everything out as ME2 progresses. This doesn't help with what ME1did for the player so I don't think it should have been used. But I guess something is better than nothing

That comic does a decent job of helping people get caught up in the big part of the story. But there's a bit of a problem with it...

There's no mention of the Geth or Cerberus. For the very beginning of Mass Effect 2 to make sense, you have to know Shepard's history with these two factions. Shouldn't new players know why most of the ME2 crew is weary about the idea of working for Cerberus? Wouldn't everyone's distrust over A.I.'s make more sense if people knew about the Geth?

Allowing people to make major decisions in a short amount of time is fine, but they can't just forget that this is supposed to be for new players. I can't help but think that people are going to be confused as to why certain characters don't trust EDI and Legion, or why Shepard constantly expresses his distrust over the Illusive Man.

But I guess there are plenty of other story elements that stand on their own. The Geth get explained in Tali's loyalty mission anyway...

No offense but this comic is weak.
I have to say, I'm not super-impressed with the way they've retold things. Take the "angry and dangerous" Rachni Queen. It doesn't explain why she was angry, leaves out the part where she's locked in chamber she can't escape, and then it completely gets the part about the insane Rachni wrong: she doesn't tell you they won't hurt you if you free her. She says they wouldn't if they weren't already insane, but since they are, you should kill them so they're no longer suffering and a danger to others. In the second part of the video, it says "She left and took her army of drones with her." Uh, what?
They also make it out like you don't discover what indoctrination is until you talk to Saren on Virmire. No mention of the STG either. Oh, and apparently, there were relays, plural, to dark space. Yeah, that's right: they got the whole Citadel twist wrong. Nice work.

Some other stuff left out: Udina being an obstructionist jerk. The Normandy lockdown after Virmire. RoboSaren. All of Feros. There's also zero explanation about the geth. They're just a name that gets dropped in unceremonioulsy here and there. The Protheans aren't explained either: nothing about them supposedly being the builders of the Citadel and the relays. No mention of Shepard being a Spectre candidate. Nihlus is turian non grata too. Background on the Rachni? Nope. They're just on Noveria (just the name is mentioned. Nothing else) for some reason. Therum: not a mention. You just apparently find Liara...somewhere. Vigil...gone too. He's just a Prothean databank in this version.

I love how people are freaking out about the choice's when for all we know the guy's and gal's at G4 could have gotten a copy for the PS3 and made this video with these choices on purpose to troll their own viewers. Well played G4 well played.

The art isn't that great and Honestly it's a lot better playing it on PC or Xbox 360 and then begin able to import your save to the next game with all the choices you made and see how it affects the story but if you don't have either you'll get the gist of the story.

Two problems... Who in their right mind could kill Wrex. And two, who would ever pick that A-hole Udina to be on the council?

they didn't really explain that Udina screws you over several times and the hatred that you feel towards the council since they hinder you the entire game. I think a lot of people who haven't played the first one will make choices in favor of those guys when they don't deserve it.
