    I have to say, I'm a little disappointed, Bioware. You did a magnificent job on the game's Launch trailer for last year and this one is on the same level as some videos made on Youtube...

    The reason that ME will never be re-released is the fact that it was published by Microsoft. They legally own that game. But I am sorry that you and other PS3 owners missed it, but to be honest, ME2 is better in practically every way.

    For some reason it isn't letting me reply to a comment, but here it is:

    @GamebustaZX and @MRS.STORMxxx

    This is hilarious. I don't see how she's a troll* (trool? Check your spelling Gamebusta). Also, she said that her Xbox has the red ring, yet did she once say she hates Xbox? Grow up dude. She's playing it on PS3. I didn't see once in her comment saying, "Microsoft sucks." I own a PS3 and a 360 and I think I'll be playing it on the PS3 because it seems to be the better deal overall. Overall, my point is, GamebustaZX, you are the troll here.

    Anyway, I think the PS3 version would be better for those yet undecided only because it's bundled with all of the DLC and the better engine up front. I've played the first and own the first one on the 360, but I think I'll be switching over to the PS3 from here on out. I know that I won't be able to keep my current character's level and won't be able to choose who/what to save, but oh well, that's what the Prequel Comic with this edition is for, am I right?

    Overrated: Building Mass Effect 2 for PS3 using the Mass Effect 3 engine.
    Underrated: Not rebuilding the original Mass Effect using the Mass Effect 3 engine for release on PS3 and re release on the 360.

    you know this was the one game that made me want to buy a 360. so i downloaded the demo and have played through a couple times and honestly... not incredibly impressed (oh noes here come the thumbs!). im still probably going to buy it, but is this really what everyone was hyping up? i know i havent played the full game yet, but just from the voice acting and gameplay so far, i think red dead redemption deserved that coveted game of the year award. the problem is i dont like any of the characters, not even shepard. and the action is slow compared to a game like uncharted for example.

    and to those that are about to reply saying i shouldnt base my judgements on a demo... isnt that what demos are for? hell the damn thing has two parts to it.

    The ME3 engine looks like it has improved the graphics of the game. There have been improvements in all the characters, ships, models everything. They also get to test the engine thoroughly for almost a whole year before ME3 actually comes out. That's a great way to listen to the fans and make improvements on the game and engine for ME3.

    And probably decide which choices from ME1 & ME2 go into ME3. You could make just 1 mistake somewhere and it could ruin something for you in ME3.

    Haven't created an evil male/female Shepard yet. Or one who loses the entire team except himself in the game. Wonder what that will do to ME3.

    I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite way to spread the Mass Effect love. Enjoy PS3 fans, enjoy. I can't wait for the third installment, sooooo looking forward to having everything fall into place story-wise.

    I played the demo a few weeks ago and personally, I got immediately intrigued by it. I didn't really know what was going on entirely, as the demo goes ahead later on into the game, but helping out that injured alien guy (forget the name), along with visiting the clinic and meeting that doctor, was really fun. I immediately felt sucked into the world. When a game does that for me in a DEMO, I know I'm probably going to love the game. Batman: Arkham Asylum did this to me with it's short demo and I ended up loving that game. The same may now happen with this.

    Did I mention the combat? That was pretty good as well in the demo. LOL

    This is a day one must buy for me. I'm Picking this up, along with LittleBigPlanet 2 on the same day.

    It's not really the definitive version of ME 2, they both look about the same and the content is the same. I hate when they say that, it just gives more ammo to fanboys in their stupid flame wars. It's great other people get to play Mass Effect, though.

    I actually played ME already on the pc, and held off from getting ME2 because I always knew this day would come! :-D

    I am a little disappointed from the demo though, because they put u on a predetermined path since u don't have a save from ME. I was hoping they would at least give you a few "what/if" questions to determine ur path. For example they made it so you leave the council to die in ME, and I immediately felt disconnected from the game since when I played ME on the PC I saved the council.
