I think part of DoA's newer "volleyball" games (I'll give them the first one as being an actual decent volleyball game) is that it's partially cultural in that these kinds of ecchi/softcore, let's face it, h-games are really popular in Japan. I can personally attest to the fact that the DoA girls feature quite primarily in hentai doujin so maybe it's like them trying to make some money off of that market. It's not so bad if you think about it since so many other artists are totally ripping off their popularity for the same (or worse) results....
