can we get the pc version in there as well
i mean there were times where each looked better than the other, but for the most part they look exactly the same to me
Her face is slightly more realistic in the PS3 version. It's evident on the close-up when she looks down and to her left. She is more "expressive" with her eyes.Other than that, they look pretty similar. Is the PS3 demo of ME2 running the ME3 engine? Either way, I've played the demo and I can't wait to play the full game!
LOL, JK. You wouldn't tell from g4's crappy vid comparisons. you'll need to actually play them both.
my left eye is being blinded from beauty while my right eye is tearing from it's good looks.
Not much of a difference, like everyone else I can only see a slight color and lighting difference.
I see a slight lighting difference in the PS3 version but the 360 version has more shadows. Otherwise they look exactly the same to a normal eye.
oops people that don't own a 360
A little bit of lighting and color change. If ME2 came out on the PS3 first I would have bought it for my PS3, but it didn't so I play it on my XBOX360. I'm just glad people who don't own a PS3 get a chance to play a great game!
honestly hard to tell the difference except when you see close up of the faces, but really can't wait to play this game.
Seem kind of stupid to compare these two games to each other when one was released a year & half ago on using a very different engine & the other running on a brand new engine. now if you want a true comparision to see which console highlites the enigine, both copies of the game need to have been made using the same engine.
I have seen many (too many) of these comparisons and as such, I have come to some conclusions . One, despite having all the necessary hardware (1080p display, 5.1 audio surround sound yada yada yada) I do not have the requisite visual or auditory acuity to discern any difference. Two, I think anyone who says they can must be Superman of full of crap. Three, they invariably fan the flames of dissent between warring console owners which is only slightly less preposterous than the egg dispute in the novel Gulliver's Travels.
the y look exactly the same why do they do this it is so stupid
Theres a slight difference with color and lighting. maybe even some texture rendering is slightly better on the PS3. but ya other then that, excatly the same
They probably won't change the engine too much for ME3, it is coming out next year after all.
I am not even going to try and guess which one looks better, they both look exactly the same. This is not a nock on the PS3 but I was hoping for some more impressive improvement in the "ME3" engine, either Bioware has a lot more work to do or ME3 will look exactly like ME2.
Aside form different colors in lighting I can't see the difference. Maybe the PS3 version looks slightly better but it's hardly noticeable and nothing to brag about. Either way I'm glad ME2 is going multiplatform, I got PS3 owners I have to bug about it now!
