God commenters just shut up, you're making things awkward in the workplace!

I really hope EA isn't affected, they have their hands in just as many games as Activision does, suing them would damage a huge portion of the gaming industry.

Way to break down a lawsuit with 2 people that apparently have no legal knowledge. This video was thoroughly pointless.

I might not know much, but Activision sounds like they're bitching and i hope Infinity Ward becomes a success!

So the law suit is about Activision getting mad at IW because they joined EA?
Childish, but then again millions of dollars are at stake so I would sue too.

The wording of the filing just sounds personal and pretentious. It's not enough to just say that West and Zampella intended to leave IW and recruit from within the company. Activision's legal team is being grandiose about it.
Then you have to consider the circumstances of why West and Zampella wanted to leave and the timing of the agreement between Activision and Bungie. West and Zampella basically wanted to do something new with Call of Duty and Activision just wanted them to keep making Modern Warfare. AND this wasn't the first time they had trouble with Activision.
If you remember way back when just to be able to get console dev kits for PS3 and 360 and to even be allowed to make Modern Warfare(COD4), they had to agree to make another World War II COD and that was COD2.
Activision is basically doing to Call of Duty what they did to Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero and Spider-man and Zampella and West didn't want to be locked into Modern Warfare. Then there is the issue of whether or not Activision were withholding contractual bonuses and based on how they operate and giving Bungie the deal that Infinity Ward wanted I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.
Ultimately I'm on Respawn's side just because of how the chain of events as far back as 2005 have played out until now and the seeming lack of maturity in how Activision has dealt with West and Zampella.

Ok I love seeing my two favorite G4 people, but there is way too much game footage. I was thinking of picking this up next year and had to stop the video for fear of having the game ruined for me.
That said, SJ, Dana, look forward to seeing you two work together more.

As for my two cents, this garbadge better not touch my Mass Effect 3 or Dragon Age 2 in any capacity or I'll have to strangle activision with my bare hands, hercules style (the lion).
But on a serious note I'm probably going overboard. But since I have no real sense of impending-lawsuit time I'm just throwing it out there.

btw i doubt stephen is stirring at danas breasts if for the obvious logical reason of ...he is being recorded on video and is not a dumb person, unlike the ones making those comments.

i hope this goes to trial so activision will lose just like they did with double fine and trying to sue them and ea DEJA VU

The elephants are about ready to brawl. The grass is praying it doesn't hurt too much. BTW, Germandude74 Stephen should be looking at Dana's lady bags, they are nice and bouncy. I kept l00king. Activision doesn't want this to go to court, that is why they asked for such a ludicrious amount, so that a settlement will be offered and then they can say how wonderful they all are and how happy all parties are to get his matter settled and behind them so they can make great games.

I'm kind of hoping this goes to trial and ActiVision get's their ass kicked.

Really Activision you need MORE money from COD. I love the games but come on the last two have made over a billion dollars each within 8 weeks of launch and the next one will probably do the same. Shows how the righteous have become that which they despise, Long live the empire.

Lets just hope this doesn't explode into something disastrous for my gaming experience because im looking forward for MW3 .Black Ops 2 and any other cod title but honestly , why can't the two companies let by gone's be by gone's, their just lighting a wick thats only going to lead to trouble.
