Hey Matt I beat ME2 with a vanguard on insane it was hard as help but it is possible. I agree ME2 was definitely GOTY. And Gun was a good (I mean passable) game that deserves a sequel.

You don't have to back out to the main menu to change your car in GT5, there is a option to change your car when selecting what race you want to do.

Best Feedback this year! It was so funny. Around the 38 min mark you guys had me rollin just laughin so hard. My GOTY was definitely Limbo, I just can't say it enough I just fell in love with the whole thing it was amazing and so refreshing. I'm with Abbie though I really enjoyed Bayonetta and I also think it is the best Devil May Cry game too lol.

Is it just me or did Matt look like Mark from Peep Show (BBC) this episode?

    Keep em comin! Great job!

Oh my Feedback=Best Podcast of the year along with two others I can't remember right now. I wonder if Steph Johnson likes Fantasy Sci-fi?

I personally don't get the raving over Mass Effect 2 versus Mass Effect 1. Despite it's graphic improvements, it felt more restrictive, in some ways. Hated little things like not being able to take off your helmet at will, or walk off and on the ship without loading, or the variety of armor you could wear. I also thought the Citadel looked and felt more like a shopping mall, than a huge sprawling city.

Mass Effect 2 is a fine game, but I haven't really thought about it since I finished it. However, Mass Effect 1 made me a fan of rpgs, and I can't wait to play it again.

I like how Adam mentions fatigue when talking about Call of Duty Black Ops,and the very next game he talks about is Rock Band 3. I fully admit that I am getting over Call of Duty. I still jump into it at random, but really I think I'm just sick of the grind to get to the better weapons and the same type of multiplayer experience. To a degree I'm sick of "Modern" warfare as well. I recently picked up Halo Reach and I'm enjoying it more than Call of Duty right now. I mean I really like the Aim Down Sight mechanic but I'm ready for the next big thing. Borderlands touched on it but I really think Brink is going to be more interesting to me when it finally comes out, I hope it doesn't disappoint. I am sick of seeing Call of Duty on the top of the Xbox Live activity lists posted by Major Nelson.

I'm craving something new and different in the shooter genre, to the point that I thought it would be cool to have a Shooter that was thematically similar to Twisted Metal lol.

    Great Feedback guys.

So... I just noticed something odd about the Gran Turismo 5 UI topic and the annoyance of going back the the home screen. There is a garage button when you're choosing a track during an A-spec mission. That would bring up your garage right there so you don't have to go to the home again. Still, the load times are annoying. I was hopping the patch that was just release would have fixed that...

All of the games nominated are great and I'm still waiting to play Red Dead.

Yay! Matt Keil, I'm playing Mass Effect 1 right now too! All my data got deleted so I need a character that goes throughout the entire series! I'm cool like Matt! Woot!
    1. Here's my input on the Mass Effect 2 debate since I know you're all on the edge of your seats waiting for it:
I hope Mass Effect 3 actually is an RPG like Mass Effect 1 is. Mass Effect 2 had fun killing but that is about it. When you think back Mass Effect 2 had a pretty poor story. The characters were well fleshed out (Me and Garrus were total chums and Tali and I shared a romantic love for each other) but the story was this: we found out it was the collecters so we put together a team (the team had personal problems) we went and dominated the collecters (although I'll admit it was an awesome ending). I appreciate Adam's point of it is good collection of short stories but like it or not the story of Mass Effect is an intense story that does more or less concern the end of the world, as Adam put it.
Also looking for minerals and things in both games has been terrible and I've dreaded having to do that crap. Hopefully it is fun to get side tracked with these things in ME3.
Point #2. Haha, I love the camera man's face when Stephen says Star Wars sucks.
Joyful Exclamation #3: I was a question of the week! I rule! All hail expl0siv0: king of the internet! Also as Adam pointed out those are two zeros, thats because I'm too leet for letters.

An excellent episode of Feedback. I don't think I have laughed so much watching an episode before now. Everyone just clicked in this episode to make it great.

It is true there were a lot of great games that came out this year. Our Mass Effect 2s, Assassin's Creed 2, Fable 3, Halo Reach, Heavy Rain, Bayonetta, Red Dead, Star Craft 2, Black OPS,etc. All of which were fun and enjoyable games.

I was happy to see this this year what happened with Limbo. It was really cool to see an Indie game win so many awards. It's like we are having a new Renaissance in games with all these great indie titles. It's true in that less can be more and Limbo is a perfect example of how if done right can really draw you into the game. I loved every minute I played that game.

I agree with Adam's soapbox assessment of this years games. There were many good and great games. They were a lot of fun to play, but nothing truly unique in a way in them. The only one that I could say as being unique is Limbo. All the sequels to these AAA titles are cool and good but I am just desiring something new and unique. Something like how Halo CE defined what a console FPS had to do to be great, engaging, and just one hell of a fun time. How Gran Turismo made car racing simulations the gold standard. Trying not to be fanboy-ish here an provide a valid statement without that fanboy labeling. Maybe this next year we will see something unique and brings us back to our origins. Origins in that we (each one) remember that one game that just defined what gaming was to us when we first started to play them.

    Just my 2 cents.

I like the fact that while they were talking about the Jitterbug, Mass Effect 2 clips were playing.

The continued ATTEMPTS at humor on this show are very discouraging. This show used to be more focused on games and not so much about obscure references. I miss those days. Used to really love this show. Adam seems more unchained the last several episodes as opposed to keeping things on track.

Its a shame that Castlevainia Lord of Shadows was left out. It was a great game with an awesome art style, pretty epic music, great gameplay, and some wicked killing moments although it had some problems with the camera.

It was made as a triple A title that got overlooked for other games and feel it was under appereciated when it came out.

    well thats my 2 cents
