Civ 5 easily destroys my life more than SC2 any day of the week. I have a feeling that whatever game wins this category sales won't be altered anyways. Let's face facts here; Strategy games are almost universally played by superfans of one franchise or another. Awards probably won't change that...
Still kudos to Blizzard for finally releasing the damned sequel and to Firaxis for evolving Civ into something even more maddeningly addictive.

Maybe it just comes down to a matter of preference, but I'd rather play Civilization than any RTS any day, even one as polished as SC2.
