On the "free" Microsoft points. I think, in part, Mr Softy did this as an answer to the dangling participle of the MSFT points that you can never, ever spend. Maybe they have made enough money off of that, that this program is basically free. I also agree with Morgan that it may be an incentive for folks to actually use real money to buy point. "I am only 200 points from getting this game....here is $5"

TO WHOEVER WAS RECORDING THE PANEL...
Step AWAY from the zoom button on the camcorder! There is no need to micro-adjust the zoom level every one-fourth of a second! Zoom on the panel member who is speaking then REMOVE YOUR FINGER FROM THE ZOOM BUTTON!
There is no need to zoom in, zoom in farther, zoom out, zoom in again, zoom in some more, zoom in yet again, zoom out ... all within the span of 2 seconds! You're making the filming method for "Cloverfield" look like they used a SteadyCam!
Step away from the zoom button!

Hey you guys use Final Cut. I had a crazy moment. I was editing listening to feedback while I capture when I looked down the media was off line on my iphone. I hit reconnect on my final cut project!

Now I have never played WoW so I didn't catch a few things,especially when they went into specific details and names of characters but this was still a good Feedback none the less.
The part I enjoyed was hearin about the development and design process of what goes on behind the scenes of such a huge company and game. Definitely interesting and impressive.

Pity Leah could only manage a squeak here and there but at least it was better than that Nicole with that really irritating nasal questioning noise...

I can personally say, as a past roleplayer of Wyrmrest Accord, (Before my account was hacked for no signifigant reason and the hacker put an authenticator on it), THat my server took it really seriously. We were no Moonguard, mind you. We didn't have a goldshire that bad. In fact, on my server, you could not say you were a dragon, a high elf on the alliance, a demon walking among humans, or anything truly divine. We called people who played those characters 'mary sues' because they were so bad at roleplaying, usually. I even had somebody try to get me banned from the server because I was not roleplaying to her standards. So yes, roleplayers do take it very seriously.

Another fantastic episode of Feedback, regardless of whether you play WoW or not. It's always interesting to hear about the ins and outs of such huge games from the people who create them.
I think my biggest disappointment is in the comment section. 20 or so comments in and not one single disparaging remark about Morgan. I'm a fan, personally, but I've come to expect miles of snark and self righteous indignation leveled toward her from the G4 community.
I'm disappointed commenters. Terribly disappointed.
