I think Matt Damon should play Nathan Drake.

Mark Wahlberg's not a bad actor, especially in well written dramatic roles, but he's way too old for roles in action movies like Max Payne or Uncharted.

    For Nathan Drake

    love the James Franco idea

I think Jason Bateman could be a good choice
    or Matt Damen

I will be totally bummed if Mark Wahlberg plays Nathan Drake I don't think I could even watch that.

I'm sorry but I have to go with Chris Pine. Any one named Marky Mark can't play in an Uncharted movie. I'm sick and tired of all these crappy video game movies. Uncharted the movie has a chance of being as good as good as the game.

I saw an advert for OnLive on Digg, I think they were selling it for $100 with a $50 redeemable towards a game. Was tempted to try it, just don't have the time at the moment. Would be really nice if they could provide access to older games in particular that maybe you can't a hard copy of.

I want to point out about OnLive, I saw a commercial for it yesterday. It wasn't very good, and if I didn't know what it was about I would have no idea what OnLive is, but they are advertising.

The point Adam made about this game being multiplatform, I have to disagree. Yes it's magical and maybe should be shared across the board with other consoles. But there still needs to be that sense of competition and difference between Wii, Xbox, and PS3.

We now have a full third party game for Wii that is excellent so everyone that has a 360/PS3 is jealous. That's just life and the way the industry should be.

Some examples. 360 has Fable, PS3 has God of War, Wii has Disney's Epic Mickey.

The games may be different, but they are all good games and good reasons to get the system that the respective games are for.

You know, I wonder how the deathmatch would have played out if Epic Mickey were to be in the running. I think it could win game of the year.

Don't if anyone knows who this is, but Joe Flanigan (Stargate: Atlantis) would be a great choice.

If Wahlberg does end up playing Nathan Drake, I think that movies success will depend a lot on the reception of his new movie The fighter which appears like it will be his most meaningful role to date.

Now as for Epic Mickey I don't know how to describe it because I haven't played it yet, but based on the discussion I'd venture Action RPG? As for seeing the game on other consoles it's probably one of the few games that would make me buy a move controller. PS3+Move= Wii HD. That said, if they haven't already thought about that I would say Microsoft will make a push to get Epic Mickey on 360 possibly as part of a far reaching deal with Disney seeing as Sony has a pretty sweet deal with Disney on Blu-ray.

Epic Mickey is an important game to me because of its pedigree. Even though it borrows from many different sub genres, it shows that not everything has to be Call of Duty/Halo/World of Warcraft provided with the 50 million+ Wii installed base it can beat Call of Duties 20 million unit record breaker. Epic Mickey has the potential to hit a 50% attach rate just because Disney/Mickey are more prevalent than Mario at least among grandparents.

As for OnLIVE, the issue I see is they are clearly going after the console market with the pack that includes a controller and I thing there first move should have been to take on Steam and the PC. The reason is that the thing that will push people to OnLive first is so they don't have to spend $500 to $1000 to upgrade their PC to play a game on steam. the other reason is because the catalog of games available over OnLIVE is going to be comparable to whats on Steam; Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo will never put their first party games on OnLIVE. So already I think they aren't targeting the right market. Ultimately what's going to hurt them the most though is bandwidth and how quickly DOCSIS 3.0 is fully rolled out. The longer that takes the more likely OnLIVES performance won't be able match a local machine in a users home whether it be PC or console.

Epic Mickey wasn't in my radar. I thought it was going to be an average game. After today's feedback I am definitely going to check it out. As for who should play Nathan Drake, Jack Barrowman would be awesome.
