I think Adam needs to shut his liberal trap. Yesterdays episode of Xplay he bashed America as arrogant. I am sick of the liberal shullbit wandering into games and thier reviews. Hey Adam review a GAME, and keep your mentally deficient political opinions to yourself. If you were intelligent enough to be a political commentator, you would be working for Communist News Network instead.

Frankly if you hate America so much, which through your comments is quite obvious, I suggest leaving. Frankly the second people like you who hate the gifts this country has been given and earned leave, it will be better for those of us who love our country. While we may not be proud of everthing done by the United States, we love it all the same and strive to make it better. You reap the benefits and complain about it, what a typical liberal response.

But lets be realistic, you get paid well and frankly legions of people waiting on baited breath for you to say anything feeds your self centered being, so there is little chance of you doing anything of the sort. I fully expect you to continue on bashing away and attacking the country and leaders you disagree with instead of doing your job and reviewing GAMES.

As an member of the video game community and a worker in the industry I frequently referenced your opinions, reviews, and your show at my job. One more blatant attack against the country that has given you so much opportunity, and I will no longer do so, and refer to your and your show as the total d-bags you strive to be when bashing the United States. In all honesty I expect to be making those comments within a week.

    What's he talking about?

It's a platformer like any other. The boss playing in the background when he talks is like K Rool from Donkey Kong 64. The bridge-repair's like Blinx and the bevy of other games that play with time repair (even shooters like Singularity). The graphics is actually substandard compared to games that've already come out like Conker's Bad Fur Day reloaded and Uncharted 2.

If I still was into platformers I could see digging this game but even then it's below the curve, not above.

My son (6yo) loves Epic Mickey so the purchase was worthwhile. I played it for a while but it became a lil samey but worth a look.

Dropped a last-minute pre-order for it, but wouldn't you know it? 6-different playthroughs of Dragon Age: Origins (Human Warrior, Dalish Warrior, Elf Mage, City Elf Warrior, Dwarf Commoner Rogue, and Dwarf Noble Warrior, and it reminds me, I need to get the pre-order for Dragon Age II in before January 11 and to keep enough in my account between then and March) and a room that needs to get cleaned are all that stand between me and finding out for myself how good Epic Mickey is. I mean, I know even if Sessler weren't giving such good remarks and it didn't say that it won 15 awards at E3 including best Wii game, I would want this game. I would want this game because it looks awesome and as a lifelong Disney fan, this game is right up my alley. And I have it, so as soon as everything else is taken care of (and I find my Wiimote again), I will be starting this game.

I don't post here often, but I felt the need to speak up on this day...I started collecting the disney box sets 5 years ago (and spent way too much money on the out of print ones)...I remember as a child of the 80's, i saw hundreds of the "shorts" and silly symphonies on the disney channel, and now they have been embedded into my subconscious adult life. To think that in a few short hours, I will be playing a game that is tailor made to that sense of nostalga and history, will surely cause a goofy grin for the duration of the playthrough. Oh, happy day, I could down a giant with a pair of siccors, i'm so stoked...

It's the kind of game I want to play on an emulator on my computer if it was strong enough. No because I don't want to pay for the game but because the graphics looks so INSANLY buch better in HD.

Watch this and ull know what I mean.

I totally get what Adam is saying about the auto-pilot state that he enters into when playing most games. We've been getting a lot of well done shooters and, well, that's about it, recently and it makes me feel really good that this is a game that helps address that for him because I WANT it to address it for me. It seriously feels like I've been sleep-gaming for the last few years, with the exception of Uncharted 2, and I want more innovative experiences that hit me on a personal level. So, now I have two games to actually look forward to playing: Epic Mickey and, oddly enough, Deadly Premonition (Whenever I'm going to be able to get my hands on that game. (And yes, I already know it's out))

I was really hoping that this game would be good although something about it, probably the environments I've seen, seem really strange to me. Kind of like it seems a little dark and creepy for a Disney game but I haven't played any of it. It's not that it's bad it just seems odd to me.

I wonder if this game will find an audience for it. With most of the target audience it's geared towards (kids) they tend to follow the trends of wanting mature games like Black ops.

I have no doubts its a good game but this title might get lost in the shuffle with mainsteam interest of what people want which would be a shame.

Adam could you give us details and information of how well its selling and numbers on feedback?? It would seem to be an interesting discussion on if it did or didn't find an audience for the game.

There aren't a lot of games that add that much depth in todays day and age of video games I guess what Epic Mickey is trying to do is show us that you dont have to have something thats familiar to enjoy a great game, its great to go off the road and undo what others are used to. I like the idea of it and it makes the game stand out in a time where games try their best to stick towards their niche audiences.

I was on the fence about this game, until now. Watching some of the gameplay going on in the background of this soapbox has made me decide I want it. It looks really intriguing and fun!

haha! adam gets it!! thats why he will awlways be awesome in my book. he's not just into FPS, he has a very open mind about other games and is MAN enough!! to want a game even if it's not filled with guns and colors of brown a gray. i agree with adam this game is a gem. and it's kinda sad that all gamers want is fps...i feel sorry for this generation.
