How can something that cost $150 (£97) in US actually cost £130 in the UK?

Can you not scan a WII stearing wheel to use with Kinect Joy Ride as seen in the Kinect trailer?

I love my Kinect, this is the best thing since sliced bread, bring on some Metal Gear Solid Rising for Kinect.
