Wow... I can't believe that cop seriously told Adam to move. Bah, whatever.

To all our younger players out there, if you truly love video games, I implore you to stop complaining about your inability to purchase these games on your own. The ESRB has a decent solution going on at the moment. The more often an M-Rated title or R-Rated movie ends up in your hands without your parents' consent, the harder it is to fight the voices that rise up against Mature-Rated games.

Instead, I invite you to suggest to your parents what mine used to do - play the game before you do. My folks would rent a game and play it to see exactly what was in it. They weren't really even gamers, and this was back when gaming was less mainstream than it is now. If they approved of what they saw, they were willing to purchase/rent it for me. If they found it objectional (and on the occasion, they did) I had to wait until I was older.

I know a lot of parents claim they 'don't have the time.' As someone that's sold video games, I've seen it. But seriously, with the ability to download demos, watch gameplay footage online, and get all sorts of information easily, it doesn't take THAT much time. It's so much easier these days. And hey, if they do find it to be a bit out of your league, please understand that that's THEIR call to make! Not fighting them on it and excepting that, rather than arguing, will show them the kind of maturity they're looking for in you.

Trust me, we've all been there. Anyone that's ever had to put in the 'turn on blood/gore' code for Mortal Kombat knows all about it.

This is total Bull crap. I mean I am a minor and I love violent video games. I think that the court is immature. I mean I understand that minors should not play these. But come on. If you are mature and understand that it is just a game I say just let them play. Stop bitching about it.

I've been saying it since I was little myself. It's up to the parants, not government to tell people what they can and can't watch/play.

Irony aside I think they take it as the same reason you can not take or wear campaign material when you go to vote. Its sad its at the supreme court.

I HATE IT WHEN I'M PLAYING AN ADULT GAME AND I HEAR A LITTLE KIDS VOICE OVER MY HEADSET. I HOPE WE DO FIND AWAY TO KEEP 'OUR' GAMES OUT OF THE HANDS OF CHILDREN. THE PARENTS WON'T, MAYBE THE FEDS WILL.

I'm so sick of our "elected" officials going after such trivial stuff. This law will only put more strain on the economy. The waste our time and money to do this stuff.... I say put someone in office who isn't a blathering idiot. haha.

We make our own universe just for us and there is always someone trying to distroy it becuse a large % of the WORLD has become part of it. Leave our world alone and stay in yours

Wow, "Vote Them Out" really? Don't mind if everything else they are going is the best its ever been, don't mind if their district has prospered and grown since they gained office, never mind if the schools, hospitals sports and arts haven't been better ever. Just vote them out because of one single issue you have with them... great view for of the greater good there.....

Oh the irony of not being able to free talk on the steps of the Supreme Court. And not really the steps. Sort of like the steps by the steps. Geeze, D.C. can be so strict sometimes.

Glad to see that his case will keep games as protective speech. At least that's my hope.

None of this matters. The esrb may not be supported by a law, but i sure as hell cant buy fallout new vegas or halo reach by myself. same with movies, theyre not lawfully restricted by the government, but theatres still restrict children from an r rated film because they dont want a parent to hold them responsible. it pisses me off that law or no law, im still being held back because of my age.
