Not sure if anyone has said this yet, but one Xbox profile can hold 5 different heroes. I didn't figure it out until I finished my first playthrough, but if you go to the Game management in the Sanctuary and choose Load Game, you are brought to a room with five pedestals and your first hero is on the left. So there is actually multiple save files available, just sneakily hidden away.

actually the magic does upgrade, it just doesn't upgrade in the sense that it looks differently, it does do more damage, but that's about it

They really should have added something for when you buy houses to make it easier to manage

Could of used another 6 months of development to nail it down!

I am loving Fable 3 so far, although I totally agree with Adam's 4/5. The game is great fun but it isn't perfect, doesn't stop me from enjoying it tho. This was the best Talkabout in while, thnx for the great reviews <333

It's great that Kevin add something to the discussion, instead of just agreeing to everything.
While the Sanctuary was awesome to visit a few times, I found it tedious having to go there to change clothes or check quests. The menus may have been flawed in the previous Fable games but it's more convenient than the Sanctuary. Also, you can now only interact with one NPC at the time! So to befriend other NPCs you have to do the same interactions over and over to get them to like you. Lionhead's goal is to further streamline the series, so I found those design choices strange.

Where does the name "Talkabout" come from? Is it like John Locke's Walkabout? Or is my ignorance so infuriating that I don't deserve an answer? Usually it's the latter.

Adam played a good character? That's new.

Fable 3 looks good, I think I'll get it later this year when they have most of the glitches patched.

I decided to rent Fable III and buy fallout New Vegas. I'm glad thats what i decided to do. I dont think fable III has enough umph to keep me playin till december. It seems like an updated Fable II to me. Same ol stuff go here go there blah blah blah. Hold someones hand BIG DEAL. Not impressed at all once again let down

Lionhead killed fable for me after the hype htey made about fable1. I had a pre-order for 6 months only to find out the game was nothing like they described. fable 2 was even worse, why should I buy 3!?

IMO Fallout new vegas has nothing onn FAble 3

Like me some fable i just don't like how they keep dumbing it down.

Does Kevin have really bad breath or is Adam afraid of smacking Kevin up side the head with his arms flailing around while he is talking???

I haven't had the pleasure to play Fable 3 yet--but from what I understand about your opinions on this--the 'reverse funnel' that occurs with your view and ability to enjoy the passionately crafted and unarguably rich world that Lionhead has crafted for us this time around....couldn't that be fixed via DLC? Maybe Lionhead is looking to mimic Fallout 3 in respect to a robust selection of DLC that really addresses the issues put forward in the original release of the game? Especially with the retool'd Co-Op, they could really do some very interesting DLC that would be very far-reaching and allow your experiences and view of Albion to break free of the bottleneck and expand back outward to its' original panoramic grandeur.
Just thinking out-loud, but that could be Lionhead's intention--to deliver in their promises..so long as they can get you to develop an even deeper brand loyalty and keep you coming back for more.

Man I have been enjoying Fable III all the quirkiness is still there and it is more streamlined which is nice when I am short on time, I can still experience a good story and gameplay in bursts.
