Every time I got a really terrible fetch quest from a faction, I got so mad that I just killed everyone then regretted it later and had to load a save.

    "Go fix our ventilation system."
    Bam, headshot.

Also, I'm pretty sure that assassin's/merchants/raiders and whatnot, are not wearing guild/group/faction armor, because I've been roaming around with some Raider Armor now about 10-15-ish hours now and only JUST got that alert about wearing White Glove armor when I put it on for the first time.

Most human raider corpses are just dropping faction-neutral crap.

I opened Vault 22 on the way TO those snowy mountains, but did not go into it, just so I could fast-travel and do it later...

now I shall do it tonight >_>

you know what they should talk about is the crazy DLC GLITCH!! i have 8 hrs into this game and i was doing the rocket/ghouls quest. as soon as i saved it and went to reload a error popped up on my xbox saying that i need a new DLC to play the rest of the game!! i can't play the game at all unless i start a new game! its a great game put really disappointed that they didnt catch the major glitches.

Although I had reservations about the game three hours into it, I am now fully enjoying the experience. Major factions are available early on to interact with, weapon choices are abundant, side quests will bring me back to previously visited locations. The Novac Nightkin mission has been my favourite to date - I'm making a new save game so I can tackle these monsters on very hard difficulty.
I do like the restriction of only taking a perk every two levels, it makes leveling up more of a strategic choice, but with chems and books and the new repair system, you aren't punished too severely for ploughing your points into your favourite skill.
    I'm happy with my purchase.

G4 gave this a 4/5 while admitting there is a plethora of bugs/glitches. What would this game be without them? a 7?

I think its a good game but the bugs most of them severe brings this game down to at most a 3/5

i personally can't play this game with my current audio card (HT Omega Striker 7.1) , Fallout: NV crashes within 10-15 minutes everytime.

    That about sum it up
However with patches that fix major issues plus DLC that allows to get the full experience
you got easily a 5 stat game in the next few months
