P.S. The Alamo is in San Antonio, Texas. Out of all the cities, and the mentioning of the Alamo... they forgot to mention San Antonio (which is kinda of close to Austin).

Jerks! You spoiled the ending of Red Dead Redemption! I hate when people give away the ending of games/movies/books. And a Rockstar game too. They have such great stories! Douches.

holy whiny hat guy, jesus... lol... i think you guys are looking at fallout 3 with rose tinted glasses, i have had no LESS issues with FO3 than with FO:NV!!! and i will say this, every game obsidian takes over and makes a new one of has a MUCH better RPG features, granted yes NWN2 and kotor 2 had some crazy patch issues but for me FO:NV is running as unstable/stable as FO3.

i think the story is great so far, i'm as into the the story of new vegas if not more than FO3. the side quests are interesting too. i'm surprised at everyones issues with the game but on PC so far i have had 1 crash in 20 hours and that was prior to the 1st 2 patches.

I think evil mailboxes sound interesting. It's amazing what enough radiation can do.

I was surprised you guys didn't know more about Redbox. I live in Walla Walla Washington, population 50,000 and we have several Redbox machines. Three of our grocery stores have two, one at each entrance, as well as our 7-11. There pretty cool. For about a $1.15 you can rent a movie for 24 hours and yes you need a debit or credit card. Its kinda futuristic as in the machine instantly pops out the movie you chose, and when you return it the machines sucks it back in. I don't know about the whole game thing though. Two bucks a night seems a little steep. Hey I'd be the perfect intern at G4. I always remember random stuff about new tech and pop culture. And of course I'm an avid gamer. Just throwing it out there.

It's somewhat hard to believe the criticism that Chris has towards the writing of FNV. Obsidian took a different approach towards the game's dialogue, plot, and writing in general. If anything, they took a traditionalist approach at the writing. And remember, Bethesda's depressing, morose, albeit well-written entry was not the first Fallout! Interplay (which basically is now Obsidian) did write the original two games with quite a bit of humor and "airiness", as you call this game's writing.
But, other than that, it was a great Feedback. While a dissenting opinion, it's finally good to hear from people like Chris, who actually give the reviews more face. They should have covered more than just the technical aspect of the game--I comprehend the glitches, but there is actually a clever, fun game beneath them--but I can't complain much for a well-rounded 40+ min. discussion on some of the big-hitters of the week.

They really need to check games on different platforms before they slam them so hard. I'm 20 hours into Fallout: New Vegas on the PC, and I've only noticed one glitch. By slamming games so hard without checking the different versions, you are putting unfair criticisms on other versions that don't deserve them. Also, why didn't they talk about Hardcore Mode?

Was going to suggest Fallout: Rhode Island but that would only have room for about a half hour of play. Maybe Fallout: New England?

Looking forward to Fable 3 and Diablo 3!

Personally I think the main issue with Redbox is variety. Sure it has the "Best of the Best" If the game selection is going to be like the movies: Only Hits, than i personally will stick with Gamefly. I personally prefer a wide selection with games that I could actually enjoy where as redbox will only stock the best sellers.

Yeah I agree, I really want to get Enslaved, want to support new IPs plus its a good game, but yeah it's not the right time to release that game. Along with Halo Reach and Fable III I'll be playing RDR with Undead Nightmare. I might pick up Enslaved later on next year but I need to save money for the 3DS then lol.

ok i understand that Fallout New Vegas is glitchy as hell, but i was hoping for at least a slightly more substantive discussion of the game. the whole discussion was basically just ripping into it for being buggy. we get it. it's buggy. anything else? story? hardcore mode? ...no? nothin? okay...

just fyi, this is the first time i've ever been critical of the feedback discussion. i watch the show religiously.

On How I met Your Mother, it was Murray Povovich (or whatever his name name, he had a talk show) who was carrying Kinect. I actually watch the show and caught that little "ad" too.

Crashes on PC too. Got 4 hours in and it crashes after I've been out in the desert for 10 or 15 mins. I think the game play is satisfying, and enjoy playing, but when i cant do ANYTHING its hard to keep playing....waste of 40 bucks? I think so...

Sweet deals, I got my 15 seconds on internet fame! :P lol but seriously I've actually been wanting to get New Vegas (and I will eventually) but im not sure if I should wait until they release some patches, or just buy it now and hope for the best. If they knew the game was this buggy and glitchy, why wouldn't they postpone like a month or two to get everything in proper order? Anyway, im excited to get cause I hear its really good

In response to their comment about Reach feeling so long ago. Reach felt so long ago because I am already done playing it...it was good but there is nothing to keep me coming back everyday.
