Pfff.. I hope Arenanet doesn't expect me to start grinding for their afterlife. *gag*
Seriously, I don't mean to be a douche, but I am sooo sick of Guild Wars already. I got to the Orange Tabby Cat minipet (reward 9/50) at about 15 times through every mission. I tried booking and after about the 7th time through, I had a hard time keeping my eyes open. The sequel looks much better than the first, but I really don't want to play that first one again. I even had an everlasting cerebral tonic. Still can't do it. buh... bye...

So yeah, where's SWTOR? I'm at the point now where excitedness and glee are just stale and pointless, now I'm just tapping foot. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure when the game is released, it'll be well worth the scrutinizing agony, but SWG is so old, I just can't get my Star Wars fix right now. I remember when that game was so enjoyable and I've literally put years of my time into it, but I just can't bring myself to pay another month's subscription (because frankly, the thought of it makes me sick to my stomache these days). I'm going to miss the option of being a Rebel Sith though, I loved that medium of limbo. No one knew what to assume, not even my own guildies. God, that was great. ...in a mechanically nonefficient sort of way.

SWTOR is going to be a great game, the voice acting is going to be sweet, im just going to wait until it comes out to make a judgement on certain aspects of the game like the sidekicks and customisation of character or ship, lots of people are already slamming it when they dont even know for sure one way or another, great episode of the MMO report casey thanks
but what happened to the sound during the last 3rd of it? went really quiet for me

The Old Republic stuff in the EA Louse post is utter garbage. I really want to know how an artist at a sister studio working on a completely different product knows they spent 300 MILLION dollars on voice actors (to put it in perspective, the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy was filmed for 285 million, and the entire SW prequel trilogy cost 350 million). I have heard nothing but positive feedback about this game, and I think with the amount of exposure this game has had, if there was even a tiny issue, we would all know about it. This sounds like he is trying to hurt EA because he is being fired and TOR is easy prey because it is such a big title

I have had a sense that SWTOR will bomb. It still might be a financial success.... but for most "hardcore" gamers... make WOW look hard. Have you seen the death mechanics? A respawn with little to no loss of time and no penalities for dying... other than a spawn timer. YEAH RIGHT. Bioware makes the best stories and best single player games. I might give it a try, BUT... they have to prove to me its not WOW IN SPACE and EZMODE AND I.W.I.N. buttons for everyone. And every smuggler gets a wookie... named the same thing... WTF!
