I'm new to comics. I've read my share of randomness and the biggies like Watchmen and Scott Pilgrim. But now I'm looking for something to subscribe to... I'd love to have something consistent and compelling to read. I'm a huge fan of character development and superheroes. Any suggestions?

Man, Powers was sold out everywhere I went Wednesday. I was really looking forward to seeing Deena Pilgrim return to the fray. I'm ordering it online today.

Um...truly sorry I pissed you off so much with my comment last week, Blair. I guess we just disagree.

I'm just sayin'...Action Comics this week, for instance, was a fun, entertaining Grodd/Luthor face off. Plus, the back up contained the first comic appearance of Smallville's Chloe Sullivan. Worth a mention, maybe? IDW's "Machete" streeted this week, too, yet we sat through two 'Joe comic shout outs.

I, personally, am going through "G.I. Joe" ennui. There, I said it.

*sigh* Maybe it's time I found a different weekly online comic blog. Looks like you'll be skipping next week's new batch, anyway.

Again, sorry, Blair. I'm a fan. But I like indies AND my DC and Marvel favorites. And you've about lost me.

    Posted with respect.
