    First, let me say it IS cool Nintendo is reviving some of their older games.

    BUT

    I feel like this game (like allll the other little Nintendo games rolling out, except maybe Other M... not really, done by Nintendo), has this cartoony not-quite-but-almost cell shady feel to it. Like it's BUILT for a child.

    Now, while donkey kong was fun, it always had very luscious dark browns/greens and felt rather like a forest/rain forest/underwater labryinth. Here it feels like "Op dee dope! I'm riding a cartoon rhino through a cartoon set of obstacles op dee doo!"
