Honestly the most idiotic questions I've ever heard. "the most ridiculous accusations?" Really? Are you being paid by these people to repeatedly insult the fanbase? It's not only his hair, it's the fact that people who have apparently never even heard of Devil May Cry (12 years ago? are you joking?) are throwing away everything that made the series great while simultaneously swearing up and down they'll keep the essentials. This is pathetic.

After watchin this I'm a bit more encouraged about the game but I won't judge anything on it yet till I see some gameplay & more about the story.

Though I will say this his new look did surprise me at first but It is slightly grownin on me (slowly).

Speaking of new looks, capcom changed abbie too! Must say I much preffer her new look compared to dante's though.

Normally drastic character changes don't bother me, but there is something about this one that does, might just because i'm just not into any of what they considered "current" music/fashion and basically everything else they seem to be modeling him after.

(Not to mention the model is overly lanky, the arms seem a bit too long, and makes him look like an undead monkey at times)

So there is likely always going to be that bit of disconnect for me culture-wise, but as long as they stay true to the series gameplay-wise i'm sure that can be overlooked.

Although the ammount of mechanic overhauling they hint at doing worries me somewhat, don't get me wrong change is good, but too much change and possibly having that sacrifice how functional it all works and looks is not, just have a feeling nagging at me that not everything will work as intended and it will end up just feel broken.

So overall, i'd say I have a lot of reserved judgement for one of my beloved series, but here's to hoping!

I find the whole "new style to reflect the current decades definition of cool" somewhat lame, although at least somewhat understandable, but seriously, if your are going to claim it is the same character then at least maintain a semblance of the facial structure and more iconic features of the character intact.

COMMando693 come on give the guys a chance. judge there works when it comes out. Besides so for not much is known about Dante's childhood or his relation with his mom and brother Virgil. We should give it a chance, it might be as good as the DMC 1,3, and 4. Come on guys we all know 2 sucks!!

i'm a huge fan of DMC since the vey first one but they never took it in the direction i thought they would.. i always thought i should have been more of a serious game and i think with ninja theory i think they will finally do it.. admittedly not a huge fan on how he looks now; not that he looks bad more about the fact that i loved how he use to look it how i will always see him i think in this case its just a beginning look and they will get to the dante we all know and love like he don't want to be the person he will become like maybe he died it or something fingers crossed...
P.S. can't wait for his brother to come back u actually also believe maybe that is his and it will have a twist or something
anyways can't wait to see more about it :D
