i would like to see the day when a M$oft product isn't met with a biased glowing review, especially coming from Morgan or Adam. Sure Kevin was a little "meh" about it, but that's only because he seems to think that Reach is all of the previous Halo games rehashed.

Glad Morgan added that little "If you hate Halo this isn't going to change your mind." Frankly, that's all I need to hear and glad she was honest about it. Never was a Halo fan and every time a new one comes out I get sucked into thinking "Maybe this one is different" by some fancy ad campaign. Glad to see it is likely something that Halo fans will like though. Have a lot of friends that would be disappointed otherwise.

Therein is the problem with a 5-star rating. A 4/5 isn't "great" enough, but 5/5 is too high for any game except maybe one or two released every decade. I prefer letter grades from F to A+. Reach might be an A- or an A.

im with Kevin on this one, i feel like Bungie complied everything from the first 3 games and slapped a new title on it. Little let down by the campaign but I guess there is always multiplayer *sigh*

I like how they over propaganda Halo on xplay and at the end of the day it's just another halo and it gets a default 4 out of 5 because its halo and Kevin always seems unimpressed with it which I believe more as a gamer than Morgan or even Adam he just seems like he's actually good at games.

Some companies that rate games/movies have a fine print "ABSOLUTELY PERFECT" score of 6/5 11/10 etc... In any case, 5/5 10/10 100% is considered a Very good game/movie with Very FEW flaws.
There will never be a PERFECT game, in the exact definition of perfect because ratings are subjective. They'll usually give you a good idea whether or not the thing in question is good, but as far as an actual rating you can trust without a doubt... you have to view/play it yourself.

@ Hyper
I'm sorry, but are YOU rating the game? No?! That's what I thought. They can rate it any way they want. Maybe it's not up to YOUR standards, however no one cares. Obviously, no game is perfect, so pointing that out just made you sound anal and that you don't get out much. Anyway, no hard feelings. But seriously, get out more!

Wow seriously? Perfect scores are usually games that are near perfect, so your not going to label 10/10 "near perfect." And most of the reason why games get perfect scores, even for the smallest little flaw, is because everything that's great about the game easily overcomes that small insignificant flaw.
Myndsync
they aren't saying the game is perfect when they give it a 5/5... it means that its in the top tier of games, and should be seriously considered for any player.
Hyper_MZ
you can never give a game a 5/5 there is always a flaw even if its a small one...there will never be a game that is 5/5 or 10/10 there is no such thing as perfect
