The thing is, if it becomes illegal to sell used games, how will people experience games that are no longer in production any more?
For example, say someone buys Metroid: Other M, kind of liked playing it and after hearing from their friends that this mediocre game was the low point in an otherwise amazing game franchise, they decide that they would like to try out some more Metroid games. Since they must already own a Wii, they think, "Hey, why not get that Metroid Prime Trilogy that received ridiculously positive reviews from everyone and their grandmother!" But wait, because Nintendo cannot stand having half decent games on their console, they stopped production of the game back in January. (http://www.next-gen.biz/news/ nintendo-no-longer-shipping-me troid-prime-trilogy) If selling used games became illegal, this person would have no legal way of playing these three amazing games. (Emphasis on the word "legal". One would have a hard time arguing that pirating a game you cannot legally buy is morally wrong.)

I thing the move will be a big seller. Sadly I would only get one for playing PS3 only games. Sence I am a true game. A hardcore gamer. A PC gamer. Not a looser xbox lover.

Gundom? really! adam has a way with his jokes but this one i just don't know.

Let's see how a non Nikole comment goes...
Anyway, let's say the stars align and God comes from the sky and ends used game sales. In that scenario, then the game companies would make far more money on their games because that is the only way to purchase them. So then, couldn't a new price war renew to fight between the publishers which could result in a $50 average game price again? Just a thought.

Wow ii hoped the move would be amazing oh well time will tell i guess. Ok i did a poll of my friends and halo and believe it or not noone said anything about halo.... Wait they r all on xbla (joking, i knew they were all on xbla i was with them) Halo is amazing but im still waiting for call of duty. I also agree with adam i live in BFE so i buy cel phones so i can actually recieve calls and txt if i had AT&T i would have to drive 50 miles to find anything 3g.

Uh, this weeks feedback, was interesting, I liked it. A lot of opinions were being thrown out there. I just want to say I love my Trophies, I have like 227 of them (and none are platinum hmm) one of the reasons why I love the console. With that said to each his/her own. As for the topics;
-Reach I heard rumblings that it sold 3 million in 24 hours.
-Dead Rising 2: case Zero, 360 exclusive? Really Capcom? What if I wanted to play it?
-iPhone ....
-I'm interested in the 3-D movement but financially I can't handle it and I really don't think it adds this
whole new dimension to the gaming industry (pun intended)
-Playstation 15 years: Like what Nikole said, the Playstation brand has done more for gaming as a whole (I.E. making it more appealing to the mass market) the Playstation is in a good place right now. People seem to not think so but...
-Mario 25 years: I liked Mario but I never played it extensively. But it's mostly nostalgia ridden.
-PS Move: people will catch on more later but it might have a slow start. It still seems like a step backwards for Sony but a risk worth taking.

Um, for some reason I can only get the HD version to play, is it just me?

Feedback : Bash Sony products Edition

SNORE Playstation Move. A lengthy discussion on Playstation Move is about as exciting as watching mud dry. Please no more discussion on this or Kinect. Both are doomed to failure. Once the landslide of awesome fall/winter titles arrive, these horrible motion products will be relegated to the dusty shelves were Nintendo Power Gloves rot. Halo Reach is the first of these awesome titles and it really delivers, the discussion on that title was the best part of the show although I'm hoping you really dive in once Kevin is back.

as a hardcore gamer (Since I watch g4, I think thats common knowledge), I am "interested" in 3d gaming, but it won't be a decision maker, or a necessity. Graphics aren't everything. the most important thing is gameplay. 3d doesn't, at least to me, magnify the gameplay, but just the graphics and the glasses, OOOOOHHH, the glasses are annoying and i'm not spending on a huge tv just for 3d. just another gimmick.

Sorry Feedback PlayStation is five orders of magnitude more important then Super Mario Bros.

Since Adam asked, I didn't know when Halo Reach was luanching - saw lots of ads of course. I don't have a PS3 nor xbox - just a classic PC gamer (w/ something called a wii, my kid uses it for pokemon ranch). Don't understand why something like Halo isn't on PC :(. I keep dreaming developers will bring great games which don't rely on motion detection back to Mother (the PC).

No Abbie Heppe NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, but still a good show like always

As a hardcore gamer, 3d games is interesting to me. I mean the games for the current console generation are 3d. Heck, even going back to the N64, those were some neato 3d games for their time and are still fun to this day.
Smpreet is right, the way they ask the question can affect their results. I would not completely trust the data that was collected unless we know how they asked the question.
Then let's assume that for this study, they asked about 3d games as in 3d that may require glasses, I would be in the 71 percent.
But there's a catch. I'm with Adam, I am not for playing games where you have to wear 3d glasses. The tech is expensive and the glasses are rubbish. With that said, I am still interested because I am very excited to see what Nintendo has done for the 3DS. The 3DS just boggles my mind as a math/science student, how did they get this to work w/o the use of glasses AND the effect can be adjusted? That is an aspect of 3d I can and will sink my teeth in to.

On games without achievements:
"It's a game, but not a good game."
My entire back-catalogue of PC games disagrees with you, as do most of my newer ones - hell, I don't even pay attention to the achievements that come with Steamworks games.
ZCube
It's not a "geeky gamer" thing...its a guy thing...Nicole is hot but more importantly, knows what she's talking about. She doesn't come close to the greatness that is Abbie however

Feedback is fast becoming one of my favorite shows to watch each week. It is an open and honest discussion of games and the gaming industry.
I would like to pose this as the question of the week:
Given the low overhead and budget necessary to produce Feedback, is there a reason why Feedback can't be shown on G4TV?
It would seem to be ideal for a late night slot and given the low budget to make the show it seems like a win win to me even if the show only had a small audience.
