I love the playstation move! I feel it's more of an option rather than making it it's main focus. I understand that there aren't many games as of yet, but it was smart to bring it out early to show gaming companies the potential. For example, if they came out with a Mortal Kombat move game, that would be amazing! to do an actual fatality with the move controller would be fun to execute!

love you guys. only problem i have is how u talk about the ps move by giving it negative comments in the same fields that you gave the wii positive comments. wii was supposed to make gaming feel more real and it became nothing but quick hand motions(which disappointed me) but then move makes u have to try harder n u say that it mite be too much? sumtimes i see contrdictions in what u guys r saying compared to past comments

Your panel this week is completely out of touch. Adam, at about 14 min in, you say that it is "good" that we would have more demos that charge money. I am not sure that is what you meant, but that is what you said. Adam, you also said it is hard to compare trophies on PS3. Select your friend, push triangle, then click on "compare trophies". Is that hard? On PS3 any time you want a menu to do junk, you select something and hit triangle. It is simple because it is consistent. Dana, are you 90 years old? 3D is bad because we don't "need" it? Here is a clue. Games are entertainment. We didn't "need" HD, either. What do you old fogies have against the progress of technology? (and saying that, I am probably chronologically older than any of you) 3D technology is first generation right now, and it isn't bad, despite the glasses. Conceptually it is a good idea, just like higher resolution and better visual realism are good ideas. Give it a chance.

Now that Move has been released, any games that are better than what you saw at E3? Any games seen at TGS that look promising?

When Nikole gave the statement about games with no achievements: "It would technically be a game, it would just be a bad game," I knew that the gaming industry was screwed. So are you telling me that when I playing through Zelda: Ocarina of Time, I was playing a bad game because it didn't give me a pat on the a$$ every ten minutes? Do you mean to say that Super Mario Brothers and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 were crap because I didn't have a little trophy symbol pop up on the top right every time I beat a level.

I say nay! I used to play mega-man 6 way back in the day on the NES and it kicked the crap outta me, and I LOVED IT. When I finally beat that sucker, it was quite the achievement, just on its own! The games of this generation are cake. Today's games do SO much hand-holding it's disgusting! There isnt a game I have played in literally years that I don't buy and ask myself: "How long is this game going to take to beat," as opposed to, "just how difficult is this game?"

Remember when everyone was complaining about the difficulty of Demon's Souls and how you got many unfair deaths? I was the blip in the back of the audience yelling "Holy crap, this is what I've been waiting for! Bring me more!" I didn't care that there were achievements in that game. I didn't play for the achievements, I played because the game kicked my butt so many times that I wanted to keep going finally beat that stupid "insert-boss here."

Halo is one of the most popular franchises in current gaming history, and it was one of the most pitifully easy string of games I've ever played. Even on the hardest difficulty, comparatively, it was pie.

When I get an achievement or trophy, I don't think like I've actually achieved something, instead I think "Well then... guess that's what the developers wanted me to do..."

There used to be a time where people would enjoy the idea of getting to that next level, getting to see what comes next after beating that nasty boss. Finally beating the game was a feat. Finally killing Mother Brain and escaping felt awesome! Oh wait, I guess that Metroid is a bad game, it doesn't have achievements........

I thought the Move conversation was a little overly critical (and maybe unfair) for a myriad of reasons.

First off you lose credibility when you make a fanboyish statement like PS3 owners don't know how to check each others trophies. C'mon...what is that?
2nd, Wii has enjoyed enormous success without launching with the most stellar lineup. Maybe all Sony needs is for Sports Champions to be good. It worked for the Wii.
Third, how can you imply that the software doesn't deliver without saying which software you're referring to? And what exactly is a family friendly console if the PS3 isn't? The 360? You likened the PS3 to a Harvard educated uncle trying to connect to a four year old. Well then the 360 must be a frat boy that's hung over trying to do the same.
And how on earth can you say trophies are like little league where everyone gets one. Is that really any different from achievements? I got a friggin achievement for using a health pack in Reach.
I dunno. I thought G4 had put the snarky Kotaku-ish stuff behind itself but it appears that many members of the staff still carry that pro-360 card which naturally leads to anti-Sony sentiments.
Can't wait for the Kinect discussion.

It seems to me like the motion controlled games really just serve a small community, namely, young kids. I'm buying a Kinect, but it's for my 7 year old niece for Christmas. She loves the Wii, so I really think she'll like the Kinect even more. But myself, I couldn't care less about it. I am really surprised, though, that Microsoft isn't making a bigger push for it.

How the F did Dana and Nikole get hired at G4??

Quite a pair of catty see-you-next-tuesdays: "Eww, 3D sucks...eww, trophies suck...eww, any game that doesn't have achievements sucks...eww, anyone who isn't obsessed with achievements isn't really a gamer..." Really? That is the level of analytical ability it takes to get an on-air position here?

I am guessing it was their oral skills, rather than their oratory skills, that secured employment for them. Please don't let them return to Feedback. I couldn't even finish watching the episode. Usually, Adam just has to moderate the discussion. This time he had to carry it.

I held off on buying Heavy Rain until the PS Move would be released thinking it would be a better experience. Now I will wait for the reviews.

Good show! I played the first two halo games, and on the computer. bought three and my room mate moved out and took his 360 with him so I did not get to play it. traded in for orange box. Not everyone can or will buy all three consoles. But enough people do, so that's where the action is. I do own 2600, pong, sne's, play 1,2,and 3. game cube, n64, wii. just have not had time to buy and play 360.

another great show guys! much as i miss matt and abbie, it's good to see new faces. i think dana's assessment of the Move is spot on: give me something awesome to do with it and i'll get excited.

as for used game sales, when EA wants to charge me the same price as gamestop i'll give my money to EA. if valve can do it with steam, then EA and the like should be able to do something comparable with PSN/XBL. (EA being the closest within mental reach for an example)

I think, if anything, game companies should get a percentage of the sales from used games. I'll admit I don't like to buy games new if I'm not a huge fan of the series. A lot of the games I've bought have been from places like ebay or gamestop since it's cheaper. I'm all for game companies getting their due but to stop the sale of used games all together is way more work than it'll be worth.

LOL, Bungie going over to Activision is career suicide for them. That company always manages to screw up the projects they've hooked their mangled teeth into. Not to even mention their own creations (those abominations are a given), but third party games that have partnered with Activision always manage to fall short on most every mark; the only way 3rd party associates are getting out alive is to take the money and run. The irony in their name is that they lack vision and are constantly buying out properties to beloved franchises, in order to cash-out on the publicity.

Does anybody honestly enjoy movie-based games? I have yet to play one that wasn't mediocre at best, and Activision is perpetuating that fad--enough said.

Sorry for the raging, but I cannot stand anything associated with Activision. If I catch wind of them even looking at infecting (that's right) the development of Diablo 3--being that they basically absorbed Blizzard (Blizzard claims to still be independently developing games so there's hope)--I don't think I'll even bother and I've been playing that franchise for over a decade.
