well it is a disappointing ending only if he had made it, alot changes would occur halo combat evolved..

i really wished it ended differently. i mean would it be so hard to make a storyline where Noble 6 lives.

That game was great i dont see how anyone could hate on it. The ending was the greatest battle time ever. I didnt go out like a bitch, i went out like a boss

Why complain, It clearly states "SPOILER ALERT" so don't watch if you don't want to see it. On another note.........It was a bit odd to play and to know you'll die. But to complete the battle and fight to the death is an experience that no other game can give you. It WAS an epic tragedy. True it's depressing but face it, we'll never forget the fight. Thumbs up for Bungie.

This game was phenomenal. The after-credits level was just so awesome, it totally summed up the theme of the game.

I absolutely loved the whole the entire game. I actually found my mouth wide open because of my amazement with the game's ending. Excellent job Bungie and hopefully you come back someday to make another Halo game =)

There should've been an epic Warthog chase scene to get Cortana to the Pillar at the end, but Bungie decided to break the tradition, I suppose.

Anyone complaining about the ending, obviously never played the game or followed the story of the game to realize that this is a prequel. So basically there shouldn't be any surprises as to what happened, because you should already know from playing all the other Halo games before it. All this game did was basically show you exactly how it went down, but we all knew what was coming. I bought my copy last night, and played a solid 2-3 hours of it so far. I feel like this is hands down the best Halo game, even without Master Cheif.

Pretty funny. People wait forever for a prequel that every magazine has said the ending to. The ending gets shown here. And people are mad about it. What did any of you think would happen? They win the war and kill all the aliens? You knew the ending was that the world fell and everyone was killed who didn't escape.

It's disappointing that there is no Legendary ending. It is tradition and they broke it. I hope may be it will be discovered later.

last complaint about this game was I felt, too often in this game, that Bungie complied too similar missions from Halo 1-3. The sniper mission especially stuck out in my mind. Felt EXACTLY like Halo: CE's night mission. Terrain layout, night time, sniper, all felt like a rehash from H:CE

I would have to agree with some of the posts, I don't really see the necessity of this. It is nice, though. Halo is one of Microsoft exclusives franchises that would cause me to buy a 360, and the trailer which I've seen 20 times (Pre-video ads Argh)has me interested in the story.

A very satisfying ending. To those who watched this, without playing the game, this is only part of the total ending. Play it, and you too will always remember Reach, and the brave men and woman of Noble Team.

well that was weak. just beat the game. didnt like it much. only two cool cut scenes were Carter piloting the Pelican and Emile on the Mac Cannon. wasted my money, multiplayer sever isnt even working!

hahahahahahah Lame. multiplayer is the only thing halo is good for and even that can get annoying. thought I was gonna get an xbox for sure, but now only is its a deal.
