i didnt get to see the trailer unfortunately. when i eventually decided to get in line, a guy told me it was already cut off because the wait was 3 hours long.

i typically hate fanboys and people who because of a IP will run off and pre-order the sequel without a 2nd thought, but i think this is the first game, where i am going to do that, i think i am a genuine duke nukem fanboy... i don't see me waiting for reviews before i pre-order this game...

Am I the only one who never saw the appeal of Duke Nukem? I mean if Forever is a good game then cool. But so far I have yet to enjoy a single Duke Nukem game. Duke 3D was basically a bad Doom clone, Time To Kill was a REALLY bad Tomb Raider clone and don't even get me started on the rest of his games. Part of me not caring is he is just a really terrible character. He's not funny,cool,witty or anything. And man he never shuts up. Every two seconds you have to hear the same terrible one liners over and over agian. And from the sounds of things, he's not changing. But still hopefully the gameplay will be solid.

considering it is gearbox i am expecting some good things. they put together the superb borderlands, did work on halo, half life, counterstrike, etc. i have faith in them. oh and for those wishing to see some gameplay, go to gametrailers.

I never played any of the Duke Nukems before, but it definitely sounds like a fun game. Wish we could at least see the trailer.

So, I woke up at 4am today and I kept hearing my co workers talking throughout the day about Duke Nukem Forever. Naturally, I assumed I was delirious from sleep deprivation. Apparently I was wrong. This = huge.
