Shank Review
Revenge is sweet in this 2D side-scroller of a man running from his past and on a slasher rampage, and Morgan Webb weighs in with this review of Shank.

I had a chance to talk to some of the Klei developers(who brought you N+, eets, and Sugar Rush) this year at PAX Prime and I have to say, this is a great game. Klei Entertainment burned through the development of Shank in roughly a year and a half, which in my eyes is amazing when compared to some of the crap on XBL. It's 1200 MSPs, which some may see as expensive for a 3~6 hour game, but I had so much fun playing it I would have no problem dishing that out for Shank. The fantastic art style definitely reminded me of a blood drenched Tarantino film. The movement and controls in Shank were extremely seamless, from the wall running/climbing to the cross-body pistol shooting. The grappling attacks were great, oh god the thrill of shoving a grenade down some thugs throat... *Sigh*

I've very excited to see more from Klei Entertainment and thanks to the fun I had with Shank, I will definitely go back to play Sugar Rush and eets for the first time.

@BewareofTrees88: Tetris is the most repetitive game I can think of, but it's one of the greatest of all time. 10/10 in my book. Other repetitive games that get a 10/10; Halo: CE, TF2, Centipede, Diablo 2, Borderlands.

Shank was way too repetitive to get 5 stars in my opinion, but it still looks great and provides a lot of mindless fun to make it worth a playthrough.
