I defiantly squealed/crapped my pants when the man was tossed out the window. As soon as I got a winds caped view of floating castles and American flags, let s just say I felt like a kid in a candy shop. No, like I ve died and gone to heaven.

So first I must ask a question... Evil robot of doom, does he have a heart??? Anyways,I gotta say looks awesome! However the best part of the vid was the womans face when she got grabbed. I litterly said "lol wat?" With this said I read a few people rageing that this game doesn't take place underwater. Rapture is no more! Also it's nice to see a new idea instead of seeing the stuff over and over! Closeing off this long post of mine... this bring "noob down" to a new meaning.

THIS is what I wanted in a Bioshock sequel. THIS is the reason Bioshock 2 was such a disappointment. Great gameplay? Great graphics? Not enough for me. I loved Bioshock because of the endless sense of discovery and the bitingly fearsome script. "Would you kindly" still gives me chills (and as my own little private subversive joke at work, I begin every email requesting something with the phrase). With two, it just felt like it was playing to the formula, with too much reverence to the original, and reverence doesn't breed originality.
This is a new setting, new character, and just an amazingly exciting take on the universe, or so it seems. And as for having the Bioshock name? I'm fine with it. It's suggesting an artistically simpatico aesthetic as the original, yet separating itself as something new and different. THIS is the announcement of the year. THIS is what I wanted at E3. I hope it lives up to the insane hype it just created for itself. I can't wait, and and thanks for covering this. I'll be paying close attention to your updates on this game.

Why does everyone seem to be annoyed by the title being 'Bioshock'? 'Bio' in itself does not mean 'water' but 'life, atleast according to this.

i defenatly do not think that Columbia is Rapture. if anyone can recall in bioshock 2 in Ryans Amusements there is a play by play of a narrator telling you how Rapture was built.

Clap Clap Brilliant! I love the steam punk model for games and seeing another one is awesome, but I'm curious how this one's going to work outside of steampunk Big Daddy style robots and natural supernatural powers(that sounds weird doesn't it?).
Regardless I can't help but feel like giving it the name Bioshock Infinite may actually hinder the appeal for the game since it looks like it has nothing to do with Bioshock, but if I see a young Andrew Ryan in Columbia in the game at least that will give both a connection and continuity thread to the first Bioshock because it would give Andrew Ryan his idea for Rapture when you think about it. I'm already sold on the game because the steampunk model for games is so appealing to me and I want to see more games with it... assuming they put the care into it that the Bioshock team at 2K does.
Is it me or is a sudo futuristic model from the past cooler then SciFi?

Can't wait for this to come out, was a huge Bioshock 1 fan and 2 fan. This announcement made me crap my pants and jump for joy.

Marvalous, who says that Bioshock has to be underwater. Much more danger in the air than it is under the sea. Virdigo anyone:)

I have to say saddly the best part of the trailer was the look on the womans face when she got grabbed. I couldn't help but say "lol wat?" Then again the whole trailer is "noob down" with a new meaning. With all of that said... GO USA! I can't wait to play!

The lack of information combined with what little was shown of the impressive world and of the big daddyish thing made this really creepy and interesting. What would be even more impressive would be if this emotion is kept in tact when more of the big daddyish thing is shown. I expect the overall package to be really good with this game.

I have mixed feelings about this game... No splicers in sight, no Big Daddies or Little Sisters, no plasmids shown, and also no water. I could deal with the game not being under water, but if it doesn't have plasmids, Daddies, etc. I don't know how this game could be called "Bioshock." I'm still a little excited, but I must see more before I can tell if it deserves to be called "Bioshock." Also, I was kind of hoping Bioshock 3 would be a continuation of Bioshock 2's story. Is this Bioshock 3, or a spin-off?

Absolutely fantastic. I love games that are set in the same universe as other games but tell different stories. Honestly, I loved Bioshock but Bioshock 2 just didn't have the same feeling as the original did. I honestly thought the series would die there because I couldn't think of a way to ever revisit Rapture without it being boring. This is so amazing because it will flush out the world of Bioshock more. It's sort of like what Halo: ODST or Halo Wars did for the Halo world, except this game is being made as a full length game by the original people who started the series.
