What would you want to see if you could control Kinect development? How about some sort of fully or hybrid Kinect Elder Scrolls game? Imagine being able to hold seemingly realistic spoken conversations with all of the npc's. How about some kind of inventory management where items are "handed" to you and you then "physically" hand them to other characters? It seems to me that even the combat in that series would hold up well some kind of Kinect control scheme (so long as the option to switch to a regular controller was there for when a player got tired. though it would probably be needed for movement anyway, as unless you have some kind of weird treadmill setup, good luck figuring out walking in a game with Kinect :p).

But this is the problem with Kinect, as was touched on this weeks show: To make something that truly excels using a given tech, it's difficult and *expensive*. Good luck getting the insane amount of money (or time) needed to make quasi-AI style conversations with different personalities for the legion of different npc archetypes needed for a game on that scope. Still, such an immersive concept sounds unbelievable for a roleplaying experience, and the tech seems possible. Hopefully someone will one day create a core engine for these concepts that others can build upon.
