What Adam said about the Wii was absolutely spot on. It's lower price-point made it an impulse buy for those with more excess income

It is kinda annoying how they take some kid's comments about sc2 that probably doesn't own it, and use that to discuss sc2 instead of taking an informed gamer's comments about sc2 and using that to discuss it further. There are plenty of bad features in the game other then battlenet and i don't think i've seen g4 comment on any of them.

i do agree that by RTS standards, the single player was good; but by an adult's standards i wouldn't say that the story was any good.

with multiplayer there is the problem with draws. Draws are very common in sc2 and there is no legitimate way to decide them, its a contest to see who will wait the longest before logging off.

theres also controversy over the hard counters blizzard has added to the game, which trivializes economic play.

on another note. i think the biggest handicap of the Wii is the internet features. i Don't think it is at a quality anywhere near acceptable to most adults. i think if Nintendo came out with a new console with better graphics, and better internet features, and maybe better controllers, i think almost everything would be forgiven.

There is a major difference between monster hunter and Lost Planet 2

Monster hunter just has more things to do, more grinding
In Lost Planet 2 you have one story that is the same every time
that you can choose to replay over and over

but monster hunter has a set type of gameplay thats wouldnt be good with a normal story like LP2
MH is based on the creatures more

    LP2 is based on story

Am I the only one that wasn't suprised by Arkam Asylum beeing great? When the second trailer of the game hit I said that this game is gonna be one of the greatest games of the year. Everyone said "don't get ur hopes up", I was thinking "it's not a movie tie in game, and the voice work and artstyle looks to be incredible".

C4 RC cars and remote drone cameras were done in KAOS production Frontlines a game universally panned for it's C4 RC cars and remote drone cameras. Yet if it's done in Call of Duty we suddenly love it. Glass houses people.

So without Sterling and Patrick Feedback has lost a bit of its charm. However, the Abbie-Morgan option is clearly the way to go. Morgan should be a regular on Feedback. Great show guys.

Now moving into other things, mainly SC 2 I have to say you have it quite wrong. And that is because specialised media has gone too much into console gaming.

The reason why Starcraft 2 feels and plays like Starcraft is not imo because the RTS is a rigid genre. Granted it is a bit, but we have seen great innovations mainly by the guys at relic with Company of heroes and Warhammer 40K.

The reason Starcraft 2 is so goddamn great is because Starcraft has transceded RTS. Starcraft was a revolution and if you didn't see it that way is because you didn't play it. It was quick, dynamic, competitive. Most Starcraft fans, myself included, didn't expect that SC 2 could beat SC. But it sure as hell has done it.

Blizzard intentionally did it that way because the truth is that no RTS has come even close to top Starcraft. Not one. Until SC2. Thats what makes it awesome. If gamers want competitive play, this game will just blow you away. Its hard as hell to master. So hard in fact, it is the top 1 E-Sport.

You've gotta be agressive, economically, militarilly, scout gather resources, effective macro strategies, effective micro, tech really quick. I'm telling you, master Starcraft 2 is nearly impossible if you are not a pro. Every player can watch a replay and easily know they need to fix a lot of things. Starcraft is the ultimate RTS experience, period. Nothing comes even close and I think thats teh reason you get a lot of comments saying why don't you talk about it much. It seems that you don't appreciate a game that takes years to master and yet is fun as hell.

I know this is a fanboy talking, but I am really surprised that people seem to complain about how hard and deep (sort of) is the multiplayer of Modern Warfare when in SC2 you actually need to study to get better, you know, like a real general would do. If that is not the best RTS I don't know what is.

Concluding, play some fricking SC2 goddamit!!!!!!!!!! Lol, Beacuse if you think you've played it enough, you really haven't.

Sigh, you know I registered to post a comment about this feedback episode. I had it written up, too, and it was fairly lengthy. It went into detail about how Feedback is like Pardon The Interruption, but without the fact checker at the end, and how I, as a hockey fan, found it unbearable to watch. The post would eventually become blah blah WII blah blah Morgan Webb blah blah Goldeneye, EA, Kinect, etc. It was actually a well though out post. Similies, facts, and footnotes within footnotes.

I deleted that post. It just wasn't worth it.

I will simply ask that Feedback not do another episode about the videogame industry's financial situations. Futile request, I know, but that first half was embarrassing to watch. That kind of talk needs to be researched and formulated based on facts, not because you want to feel that your opinion is 'vindicated', or whatever that diatribe was about. This is what is missing since Patrick left. I was hoping Adam Sessler would have been that guy, as he so often is, but sadly he was not.

Misinformation ( dare I say, disinformation? ) should have no part in a podcast that is attatched to a large television network.

Smh, and I STILL post more than I wanted.

I might not be "stupider" :) for playing games and; I believe gaming actually has increased my MENSA-score...."I believe there should be a ("") around the whole Languange thing.... and i'ts true what you say... we no longer have to explore theese wast dungeons withouth (or however it is spelled) any help...but.... we can still challenge yourselves with theese dungeons; like in arkham asylum, and I don't feeel like I've lost anything; rather than gained a great hope for our future...

Out of all the comments I have made that feedback could read, it picks the one that I half-assed and I fully didn't think out. I know I was wrong and I have played Star Craft 2 and it is a very good game. At the time everyone was freaking out over SC2 and I just wanted to make a jab at it at the time. If anyone wants to take the time to read my other comments you will see that I am very open minded and this one makes me sound like a douche. So forgive my wayward sleepy have thought comments, sometimes I mess up.
