I will agree with the StarCraft 2 statement. One of my best friend and I were big StarCraft 1 fans. We played beta multiplayer where we discovered its just Starcraft 1 with better graphics and new units that almost did the same thing as 1. I heard allot of good things about the single player. I purchased the game and I will agree... and I have posted this already... the single player is worth the game... even if you never play the multiplayer game. Especially if you go for achievements.
With that being said, my friend did not purchase it and I got a 7 hour gametime buddy pass and gave it to my friend. He refused to play it. Even though I have told him about the uberness of StarCraft 1 single player.
I believe that the main reason why non believers dont want to buy StarCraft 2 for the single player is because for decades we learned RTS dont have good single player and when a RTS does have it... we dont believe it.

In an attempt to make Abbie actually retch I would like the point that the difference between the attraction of your average male Feedback viewer to a tattooed 20somthing woman who plays video games and a tattooed 20somthing woman who actually is a video game is razor thin.

I've played alot... and I mean ALOT of rts' in the past 12 years, its my favorite genre after all so there's barely been any I've not played and SC2 is hands down -the best- ever.
Yes it isn't perfect, yes many aspects of it are unchanged from the original but it is by far an immense improvement in every way it needed to be from the original, from story to gameplay and everything in between. Just because you don't have the money to buy it right now is no reason to hate on what is easily the best game Blizzard has made so far and without a doubt the single greatest rts to exist in over a decade. Be patient, get yourself some money and just buy the game.

Obscure reference:
Adam mentions "taking an extreme flat earth position" in regards to Kingdom Hearts 3.
In the book Foucault's Pendulum (which Adam has mentioned previously at the comicon panel for x-play) there is a reference about the Nazi's during WW2 taking a flat earth position in which the calculations for bombing London with V-1 missiles were off target because they used calculations based on the earth being flat rather then round.
I don't know if this historically accurate but the book does reference it.

Why does Bioshock Infinite feel like Bioshock but in the air. It sounds fun with all the new characters and enemies but they are also so alike the first one. Do you guys feel like this game is going to be new or more like Bioshock? If new why?

It may be too early to tell,but it looks like Treyarch isn't making a game, they are making a Mod of MW2, just like W@W w/ MW1. Firearms are similar and the gameplay is so similar it's nuts. It also looks like everything I hated about MW2 is coming back in BO (Explosives/Shotguns/Crossbow as a secondary, no recoil on weapons, etc.) and then some. A Ballistic Knife on top of your combat knife?! WTF is Treyarch thinking?!
We have another "anybody can play" CoD coming out and it's sad. CoD4 was the pinnacle of the series. It balanced it's perks, weapons, and maps. PLEASE TREYARCH, balance the multiplayer. I vowed to never buy another CoD after MW2 came out. EA messed that up by screwing up MoH. I want to play a modern shooter that's balanced. I need something more then just Reach.

Kinect just seems too half-minded to me. Sure theres potential but Microsoft really should have invested more time into R&D. Not reading hand signals may seem insignificant but its things like that that could help Kinect set itself apart from Nintendo and Sony.

You know what would be a great game for Kinect? Lifeline. You see all the cameras of the area on your Kinect, point at one and motion and stuff to direct the soldiers through it. Use Kinect to do voice stuff. Good times.
